Why do so many religious people think it's ok to judge by our level of religious involvement? It affects the workplace, our government, relationships, etc. This is discriminatinon. So who thinks you can judge me for anything?

Think back to the concept of the earliest dawn of time. Do you think there had to be a point where time began? Do you think there was a point when the first second occurred?

If so, what's your theory on how time began? Who or what do you think started time?

Jesus went around in Galilee,purposely staying away from Judea because the Jews there were waiting to take his life. But when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near,Jesus' brothers said to him,"You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may see the miracles you do. No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world."For even his own brothers did not believe in him.
Therefore Jesus told them, "The right time for me has not yet come;for you any time is right.The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil. You go to the Feast.I am not yet going up to this Feast, because for me the right time has not yet come."Having said this, he stayed in Galilee.
However, after his brothers had left for the Feast, he went also, not publicly, but in secret. (John 7:1-10)

Let me get this straight. People devote their lives here on earth to praise jesus the son of god. I am assuming that they are doing it because they don't want to go to hell.
So when they die they go to heaven. Then you must praise for eternity? What happens if you have been praising for 3,000 yrs would it get boring after a while? Why are people praising? Is it because they fear god? Or is it because you have to when you get there or you have no option? (I just don't get this whole heaven thing.)

Seems to me the answer is clearly, yes of course. We’re not talking contraceptives here, or sex before marriage and all that sort of jazz nonsense. We’re talking killing and murder to control birth and world population.

Religion is responsible for the majority of wars, conflict and murder of innocent life since humanity began. People kill and murder in the name of God.

Is that not a wonderful religious way to control population? Would it not be more peaceful and loving to allow contraceptives, without the need to kill and murder?

Your thoughts please.

place yourself as one of the few luckiest survivors of a plane crash. Unfortunately, your plane crashed on a remote freezing mountain. No food left as this had been consumated by fire. You and the rest of the survivors made a pact that anyone who die ahead of the rest would allow his/her body to provide food and sustenance for the rest of the survivors. The pact will be observed continuously one dying survivor after the other until help arrived.

The question is how are you going to say your prayer? Would you pray offering yourself first to die, the last one to die or never?

If you don't believe in God, you don't and move on. It seems to me if you choose something to call yourself and categorize yourself, you want to belong to another organization ( same as christian, jewish, muslim..) whether it's faith related or not.
Why not say " I don't believe in God" in response to "what religion are you"? If you say " I'm atheist", that's another religion ain't it?
You somewhat become as fanatical as the religious mass you're bashing.
