It means "Peace be with you" in Arabic.
To all the negative thinkers: Unless you are a bigot- don't answer a question just to shoot down someone else's beliefs. Move on to the next questions and say nothing. Better yet, learn something!

it means peace be apon you and it's Asalamalikuim I think I may have it spelled wrong myself but I think that is it but usually the nation of Islam(not to be confused for the real Islam uses it the way you spelled it and but people or the real Islam it is pronounced Salaamalakium that is how you know the difference the nation of Islam are the pro-black racist people saling bean pies on the corner with the suits and bow ties who won't take money from white people and real Islam are everybody else who believe in peace not to be confused again with crazy *** terrorist who say what they are doing is in the name of Islam when it isn't and to say peace be apon you back it is like Walakiumsalaam which is it backwards or saying back to ya

That simply means .. Hello or Hi
Literally it means .. Peace to you
To write it correctly .. it's " AL salam laka"
AL Salam (Peace) laka (to you) ..
I'm not muslim, but I understand arabic.
