Why do so many religious people think it's ok to judge by our level of religious involvement? It affects the workplace, our government, relationships, etc. This is discriminatinon. So who thinks you can judge me for anything?

I don`t, god is the one who judges you according to your beliefs not me. I judge you by the way you treat me

I'm a Christian and I don't believe anyone has a right to Judge another person's Faith or lack of.

I am sorry to say there are a few people who Judge another person. but does that mean ALL the people In that group should be blamed? I don't think so. Sorry this might not make any sense I Just got home from work and it's really late and I can't sleep again. so forgive me if i go on and on :)

Your question just proves that religion divides people more than brings them together. There is only one God. Remember, religion is an interpretation of a specific culture, nationality, or tradition that people have believed and continue to believe in to try to explain their own existence and what happens when they cease to exist. This is how religion controls a population. Example: According to history, when Europeans were exploring the world they would send their missionaries to meet the native people on the land that were discovered. The missionaries would then try to convert the natives. Once they were converted, the natives would be submissive to the missionareies and plundering explorers. At this point the natives would believe that if this missionary knows God, than he is better than me and anyone who looks like a missionary. This is how the natives were controlled. The missionaries made them think they were less of a people. When this was accomplished the natives were killed or enslaved if they did not beleive in "Christianity".

I think that some Christians judge. I don't think that it is entirely their fault. Well not for all of them anyway. It is our human nature to form opinions and judge things from our experiences. Sometimes I do it with out noticing. When I catch myself I try to make a metal note not to do it again. However this isn't just a problem amongst the religious. Lots of non believers judge Christians to be stupid or brainwashed because we believe. That's fine but I know not all of them think that way and I appreciate the respect for my beliefs that I get from the ones that aren't.

Some people are deceived thinking it's okay. Some people sometimes forget to look in the mirror. They forget when they point the finger, there's always 3 pointing back. I myself forget sometimes. Were human, we fail every time.(Romans3:23) I have to remember, I bring that judgment on myself. Our tongue is powerful. It can encourage and bring joy and it can also destroy. We need to filter our minds with the word of God and guard our tongues and ask the Lord to help us and be our strength most of all think, before we say it.

I have been religous for almost sixty years and have had that accusation thrown at me more times than I can remember. I have had my journals stolen so many times from fellow employees because of what they were afraid i was writing in them that I quit writting at work. That I got my journals back after they saw nothing about them is small consolation, don't you think? Why do you worry about judgements if you are indeed innocent?

If I was to try to be more like god that would include being just and judging is not just. Not in the manner you are reffering to.

I do understand the problem but you must understand that this problem is isolated to our country. I am sure it happens other places but we tend to have extremes in everything which brough forth zealots. It is no different than the preachers that only talk of end days etc and forget the true idea of God.

Good question.

Some so-called religious people just like to "lord it over" people as though being religious made a person special or holy or something along those lines. Do not pay attention to these people.

religion has nothing to do with it. people by and large will judge others based on their own values, even if those values are misplaced.

judging someone is NOT discrimination. it is acting on that judgement in a fashion that is not pleasing to God, that is discrimination.

i can hate somebody all i want, but as long as i dont spread gossip (true or not) or deny them the rights and priviliges i give to others, then it is not discrimination...it is merely a darkness on my heart and sould that must be atoned for.

i can judge you for any reason at all....but just because i do, does not make my judgement valid.

Why do so many non-religious people judge others so harshly?

That is equally based in prejudice.

(Just look at some of the answers below to see my point.)
