Alot of Christians preach alot about what is sinful and what is God's will.......do they ever think about gluttony? How do they avoid it? If one sin is no greater than the next, why aren't gluttons attacked by the religious right?

I'm outspoken about how I'm agnostic and disagree with both atheism and theism.

But I only get hate mail and threats of eternal punishment by the theists.

Atheists, you are NOT keeping up with the opposition here.

Just to balance things out, would an atheist please damn me to some nasty punishment?
10 pts to the most creative punishment you can wish upon me.

Some damn me to hell, others insult my god.

I accept this persecution and hate as the FSM teaches.
Does this make me holy?

Does that mean we all ought to judge Don by the things other people say about him in here?
Is this the way a man of God ought to behave, as has been suggested?
Or is he just trying to get traffic to his site?
BTW, my dog has one of those certificates...yes, folks, my chocolate lab, a big silly dog named Riff is an ordained minister, and can marry and bury you (along with his bones, and a couple of my shoes in the backyard). You can get those things cheap on the internet, and they are actually legal! I got one for Riff just to prove it could be done. (I guess he's the "answer dog" now.)

God's people aren't doing this or that so he gets pissed and wipes them off the face of the earth. So and So didn't act exactly the way he wanted him to so God throws a fit and curses or plagues them.

Jesus wants a fig off the tree but it's not in season so he curses it to never bear fruit again.

Childish behavior.

Regarding these questions posted by "Praise Jesus and George Bush" a short time ago:

***************************************************************
"Since athiests have no morals, are most athiest women willing to prostitute themselves?
When are you agnostics going to grow some balls and choose a side?
You think its time that we beat the word of God into these unbelievers?
Will you laugh when the athiests and liberils are sent to hell for all eternity?
Do athiests get pleasure from killing babies while saving criminals?"
**************************************************************
What do the Christians out there think about these questions? Do you advocate beating your beliefs into people of other religions? Do you automatically assume that people of other beliefs such as Agnosticism and Atheism are immoral, work for the Devil and like to kill babies?

Finally, how do you think Jesus would answer these questions?

I am realizing that just because I am a christain that life is not a free pass and that bad things happen in life even though you may do things right and follow God.

But I do I get over and get through the trials and realize that GOd is not singling me out.

What are ways you deal with trials and dissapointments.

the idea of 'live and let live' or 'agree to disagree' or 'you believe what you want and i'll believe what i want'....too many religious police here. its either you have to be a christian, atheist, muslim etc or you're subject to harassment or idiotic name calling....believe what you want but don't attack others for their beliefs...its simple really.

Close your eyes

imagine everyone you are talking to on yahoo answers is a person, with real intelligent thoughts and real feelings,

imagine what would happen if we all treated others like we wanted to be treated,

then open your eyes.

Question for everyone: What was it like while you imagined those things?

Isn't religion is the source of all of today's intolerance?

I realize there's a risk of re-creating what I rail against, but if religion is about intolerance, and this intolerance kills people, isn't the best way to oppose it by being intolerant of intolerance and therefore to hate religion?

If this is not a panacea, show me a better way to make sure that religion assumes LESS influence in global affairs.
