Being a Christian doesn't make you inhuman. You're going to still feel the full gamut of emotions.

Any of the 4 Gospels should be uplifting to you. I used to struggle with anxiety (I still do to a lesser extent). This is something you have to figure out for yourself. There are tons of scriptures that might help your specific concerns and life experiences. Keep studying.

God Bless.

You are not alone many of people feel anxious, afraid, or apprehensive. But by staying in the Bible and learning to listen to God you can overcome these afflictions.

Could this be a test of your faith?
What always puts me @ ease is to remember the message in JER29:11. Some of the worst things(@ the time)have turned out to be for the improvement of my life.
Some times I can just open my bible @ random and get an answer.
To feel anxious when there is no apparent reason could be your inner voice, remember you are a child of the Lord & are under his care always.
You are also subject to human nature so it is not uncommon to have normal human feelings, talk to your pastor or someone you are close to spiritualy and find a counselor in your religeon.
God Bless & keep you.

It is normal to feel this way as a Christian. You're only human. However, when we feel anxious, afraid and worried, it's Satan distracting you and taking away your peace of mind. Pray. Ask God to take away all of your worries and fears. He will help you renew your faith and you won't be easily distracted by these other things. See below. It works for me.

Philippians 4:6-7
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all He has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

God wants to be the first one we turn to in times of worry and crisis. When we do, He promises a special blessing if we do the following four things:
1. Stop worrying/fearing and start praying.
2. Tell God your needs.
3. Present your request with thanks (Thank God for his answers in advance).
4. Receive God's peace.

It's normal for anyone to feel anxious or uneasy, regardless of what beliefs you hold. You may just have a bit of anxiety disorder which is fairly common. Stress can cause this which we as people encounter on a daily basis. But you can always find comfort in your beliefs, prayer and meditation are always a good way to help sooth frazzled nerves. You'll be alright!

All humans no matter how great or humble go through of variety feelings, emotions, and beliefs throughout their lifes. If you accept the hardships in life they become much easier and realizing that the end of one problem is not the end to all problems makes future troubles much easier to deal with.

Actually, you'll be surprised to find that the Bible tends to put people nervous. As a matter of fact, Christians are much more nervous than people who don't believe in god. Take the fundamentilsts who hate gays and blacks for example, they're stressed out all day. I recommend you quit god and smoke m a r i h u a n a.

I don't think your problem has anything to do with religion or the bible, I'm not quite sure why you would even suggest such a thing. Sounds to me like you may have a touch of anxiety or depression. I would check in with the doc, I think you may have an anxiety problem.
