When they got in from fishing, Peter swam, Jesus had a fire ready cooking breakfast.. what did he use? (If you do not know where this is in the Bible I am not asking for your input)

"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
Matthew 27:46

In reference to the above verse, has Jesus gone to be crucified willingly or taken against his will?

If it was his will he should not have said to God "why hast thou forsaken me?" and he should not have hid himself from Jews because they are supoosed to be making his will come true.

If it is not his will, so he was forced to save us!

Or is it a symbol of what has already taken place in ones heart or life and the person is declaring that publicly? Of course I know the answer but I can't answer my own question. Please keep your answers short as possible in consideration of others. Thanks what do you say and why? and what is your faith?

I am baptist and I love my religion. I have a respect for all religions and I do not bash others for what they believe or don't believe. I never try and push my beliefs on others but I see many who do this. I was wondering are you like me or do you like to debate?

The main argument I come across goes something like this:

"Atheists BELIEVE that god doesn't exist. They have FAITH in that BELIEF. If they have FAITH and BELIEF, that makes atheism their religion!".

Well... on the basis of that logic... my religion is Houseism.

I BELIEVE that the television show House is the best program currently being aired (I don't actually think that, I think it's really dang great, but for the purposes of this analogy, let's pretend I BELIEVE it's the best). I BELIEVE this and have FAITH in that belief.

Now... this "religion" of mine doesn't seem to include any of the necessary elements of a true religion, namely:

Belief in supernatural beings
Sacred vs profane objects, places, times
Ritual acts focused on sacred objects, places, times
Moral code with supernatural origins
Characteristically religious feelings
Prayer and other forms of communication
A worldview & organization of one's life based on the worldview
A social group bound together by the above

I have several Mormon friends who I adore, I am baptist. I have a deep respect for all religions. First of all I know very little on the Mormon faith so when I saw on CNN the other night that there was a rally for palligamy in Utah I was kinda hit off guard. They were saying that they believe that their blood line was with Jesus and in order to keep the blood lines pure they were inter-marrying and having babies. Is this true off all Morons or just the group on TV? What is ment by this? Either way I still respect the religion, basicly would love to know more on my friends religion without just asking them, I don't want to offend anyone

Is it appropriate to go to a Catholic church for a confession if you're not Catholic? I'm not planning on converting to Catholicism, I just think that confession is really healthy for someone's relationship with Christ, and I was just wondering.

I'm being serious and curious all, please respect that. I'm not trying to "butt in" on anyone's religion, I just want to know more.

The trinity was invented by Paul and Constantine and forced on Christians. The Bible was changed to indicate this by Constantine. Jesus son of Mary PBUT never ever claimed to be God or son of God, and this claim hurts him. He sent a message to you through the true word of God the holy Quran asking you to stop this, why you don't listen to him if you really love him and don't want to hurt him. Even more this claim will guarantee hell fire to who ever believe in it on no basis, please wake up and save your souls. Yes it is difficult to change beliefs but all what is required is to search for the truth based on evidence again. Think why respected smart people like the ones at the links below changed?

Hi, I am a born-again Christian. I am dating a guy right now, that is also born-again. We've fell into the sin of fornication, on multiple occasions. We both feel so horrible when we do this. I know it says in the word, if you can't abstain from sexual sin to get married. I don't want to be like, ok we have to get married. I know it says in the word, that a man who find a wife finds a good thing. Not a woman who finds a husband. However, I've come to the point that I've made up in my mind, I will not fornicate again. I will put aside my will and focus more on the will of GOD. Do you think, I've messed up my chances of us being married, considering I've already slept with him before?

I have found that most people can not prioritze their lives and never come to grips with that One Thing that matters to them. This One Thing is the thing that all of their decisions should be based upon. Until you find that One Thing, many of us wander from relationship to relationship, heartache to heartache, birth to death. Many have found their One Thing. Have you?
