Deut 6:4 is not talking about ‘persons’ but about God. Trinitarias are not tri-theists (3 gods). Thus I am not sure what Deut 6:4 has to do with the issue of plurality of persons. The orthodox construction is one God in three distinct subsistence’s. Your passage proves the former but does not disprove the latter.

Deuteronomy 6:4 says that the Lord our God is One. That word "one" is not 'yachid' meaning "the number between zero and two," but "eachad," meaning "united."
How many possess that nature of deity? Three; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Check out the chart below.

This is my favorite question. The word for "God" there was in Hebrew as Eyhl. We tend to use the Greek because it is easier to say Elohiym (el-o-heem). This is a plural word by definition. So what this verse is alluding to is.
Hear, O, Israel. Jehovah our Gods is one Lord.
Our God in 3 persons are the Father, Son, Holy unnamed servant. How is God 3 "persons"? Ask a mathematician about Hilbert spaces (extra dimension) that we have proven to exist. Physicists also know.

Alright the reason people believe in the trinity is because of Genesis. The Lord said"Let Us make man in our image" second Jesus said "I am in my Father and my Father in Me" third we are to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. You see the trinity is God only in three sections God the Father, God the son(Jesus), God the holy spirit.

I believe in the trinity so I will give this one a shot.
God is one God with three parts; God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit.
God is capable of creating the heavens, the earth and all that is in between. He is beyond our understanding.
Genesis 1:26 "Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness...""

The Lord is one. I don't understand your question. Trinatarians do not believe that there are 3 gods. One God with 3 ways of manifestation.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are ONE.
You are three in one. Body, Soul & Spirit.
.... It's a simple concept that causes much debate.

Same way a man and a woman can be one flesh.
Genesis 2: 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
They agree as one. Not really one flesh.

One God manifested in 3 distinct ways.
See source below for another example of this explanation based on scripture and Catholic dogma....
