Yes and no. I believe there were cavemen because we have found their writings and I think we have found their bones, but I believe that cavemen were a little bit smarter than apes, or apes could have been smarter, so they weren't exactly what you would call men. They were more of apes even though I don't believe in the Big Boom theory or the evolution theory, I just believe that men can act like apes sometimes.

Yes I do believe that there were people you can Classify as "cavemen" To think that man Just "ONE Day APPEARED"
on the earth need to go back and reread Genesis. pay close attention to " in the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth." man was not Created until the sixth day is that one earth day? or one of God "s days wich is referenced to be 10,000 years long? that wound make the apperance of Man as we know him to have appeared some 60,000 years after god set about forming the earth It clearly say that the earth waswithout form and void. for how long after in the begining God created the heavens and the earth. Do I think that modern man is decended from caveman? no but the drawing and the bones found tend to prove that they did exist.

Were? I think we're still living a little too close to the cave door sometimes.

We could treat each other alot better if we remembered that we were created and put on the planet to take care of it (--and each other) and to commune with God daily. We seem to have abdicated our responsibilities a bit, and lost much of the joy of life in the process. Still, one of the priceless things about being human (even a cavehuman) is the ability to have remorse and to turn around and do things differently. To be inspired, and to inspire others to excell beyond our caveman-ness!

Uh...Yeah. Because there is more proof that they existed than the fairy tale of Adam and Eve populating the earth. But there were no "cavemen"-big brutish men in animals skins knocking women on and rididng dinosaurs, just a succesion of animals that slowly, through evolution, became Homo Sapiens.

To even use this question in a relious area is crazy...There is proof of caveman. Maybe "God" created us in his image...2 things that go with that

1. I tought God was a man so where does that leave us females...I in no way of form look like a man.
2. Maybe God did creat us in his image...but perfection isn't always created on the first try.

There is proof of cave men they have even found frozen ones. Were they Adam. Who knows. All we do know is there is proof.
