to read the laws of attraction. has anyone read this, and what do you think about it?

Never heard of it, but if you are happy with what you believe - just ask your mom to respect your right to be different.

I'm pretty sure the Laws of Attraction and the Rules of Attraction are two completely different books.
And if your mom is a christian fundie I highly doubt she is recommending the rules of attraction.

If you mean the one that was made into a movie in 2004, then I doubt it has anything to do with Christian fundamentalism. If this is the case, She's probably trying to connect with you on non-religious, neutral ground. Can't fault her for that. She's your mommy. Just read it.

I have never read the laws of attraction, although my grandma tried to make me read it when I was younger.

I haven't heard about that book, but my mom is also a fundie and they are always following some new wave of teaching or nutrition or such...

I can only think of the movie called laws of attraction. if that is what you mean, I enjoyed the movie.

You can watch the movie...in a nutshell you need to fight for your marriage. Marriage is something that should not be taken lightly I would think your mother is trying to share with you. Best wishes and prayers =)
