I'm pretty sure the Laws of Attraction and the Rules of Attraction are two completely different books.
And if your mom is a christian fundie I highly doubt she is recommending the rules of attraction.

If you mean the one that was made into a movie in 2004, then I doubt it has anything to do with Christian fundamentalism. If this is the case, She's probably trying to connect with you on non-religious, neutral ground. Can't fault her for that. She's your mommy. Just read it.

I haven't heard about that book, but my mom is also a fundie and they are always following some new wave of teaching or nutrition or such...

You can watch the movie...in a nutshell you need to fight for your marriage. Marriage is something that should not be taken lightly I would think your mother is trying to share with you. Best wishes and prayers =)
