Hmn, not sure what you are going for here. As for me, I don't think I'm religious in that I don't belong to any organized religion. I am and have always been on a spiritual quest and am interested in how people come to their particular beliefs. I just can't understand or accept that there is one way. However, I don't try to "knock" Christianity or any one else's faith nor do I try to cause controversy. I will continue to question and look for answers with a strong desire to live my life as best I can.

Ability to withstand controversy shows the strength of a religion. A religion that is afraid of controversy is not based on the truth. Examples are the religions that attack others when someone talk against their religion. Islam is a very good example. Hinduism was not originally that, but now they are taking that shape.

Those who have true faith with solid base need not be afraid of any controversy.

Why does it matter? God knows his own; if he wants you to know who they are, he'll clue you in, right?

Sometimes, I enjoy listening to people let the stream of consciousness flow without over-editing. Creative thoughts and ideas form in a relatively free (not to say licentious) atmosphere. There is nothing more boring and unedifying than being on a site with a bunch of stiff 'we don't say that kind of thing HERE' christains.

Yes, there are some ridiculous remarks here--some of them may be mine, ---but I like seeing how people who are different than me think. And honestly, even some of the more ridiculous comments, make me think...or at least smile.

So...relax...enjoy... life is too short to get ulcers over a few
ill-flung arrows.;)

Hoping the best for you...

I am devoutly religious and I have no desire to knock Christianity. I am here to learn about different religions and to share about my own when asked.

Controversy is healthy - people think. I welcome different perspectives - keeps me honest with myself about who I am and what works for me.

Religious? I've become a little more mellow with age and, for me, religion has become more of a spiritual experience with my Creator.

Although I love a good controversy I must admit that I am devoutly Catholic.

I just joined up and I am actually religious. I am a youth leader at an Assembly of God church. My God is my Savior. Without Him I am nothing. And I defend my beliefs.
