I'm looking for scripture that talks about charity, doing God's will, giving, and being kind to children. Is there a website where I can look up scripture by topic?

In eastern religions it is accepted that God and the Devil are two sides of the same coin... so there is no hate. What about from the point of view of Patriach Abraham's religion? Does the Creator hate that which was created of his own power?... Lucifer?

Look, you put a young man and a young girl together in a garden. Have them naked. There are no body else around, no peepers. Fill them with burning desire. And tell them "you shall not fock" and expect them to twiddle their thumbs all day, everyday? And when as expected, they fock you blame them and chased them out of the garden so that they and their descendants have to carry an original sin and have to suffer hereinafter though no fault of their own?

I read a question recently regarding the creation of God. Most people believe that he has always existed, but how can you create something out of nothing? To bring up the old big bang again... How is it that Christians and such like are so against the idea of a big bang when they claim that something can come out of nothing but are being completely hypocritical when they say God has always been here? Existance is something which can only be created.....discuss.

the story of Abraham was written about 600 years after he existed (thats if he ever existed)

noah's story was penned about 500 years after he lived (that's if he ever lived)

moses's story was written about 500 years after he lived (thats if he ever lived)

mohomed's story was written in the quran only about 600 years after he lived.

This is what theologians have to say, and it goes for every Religious story
How can any person believe Religious stories for its historical and literal correctness, when the time gap between the actual events and the writings of these stories are so vast?

Several resonses have indicated that "God doesn't hate the sinner, he hates the sin." This is directed to you who believe this:

What the heck do you think was going on when God killed all of the Egyptian first born? That wasn't an act of hatred?

What was God doing when (after a battle) he told the Jewish warriors to kill all the enemy's male children and non-virgin women, but to keep all the virgins for themselves?

What was God doing murdering thousands (if not millions) of children and adults in a flood?

What was Jesus doing taking a whip to the money changers in the temple?

What is God doing condemning the majority of humanity to eternal torture?

These are not simple slaps on the wrist. These are out-and-out murderous rage. If anyone on earth behaved only fractionally in this way, they would be locked away.

Where in your bible do you get the idea that your God doesn't hate?

The devil seems to be blamed for everything that goes wrong, accidents, tsunami etc.We were "created" with an almost uncontrollable lust for sex and easily give in to the flesh (no fault of ours!) like Adam and Eve, yet we blame the devil. Is it the fault of the devil or the fault of god who created it all???

alpho omega. beginning and end. if god is omnipotent, omnipresent, and he exists outside our universe in another plane of time and space, is able to exist in dimensions outside our perception, and essentially able to know what has happened, what will, and hold the power to have already decided the fate of the world, doesn't this in effect inhibit and virtually negate our free will? isn't this contradictory? if he knows the outcome and is able to exist throughout time, he already knows what we're going to do and we are already set in motion on a specific plan that is predetermined, thus no free will. explain.

Can the story about Abraham be taken for its historical and literal correctness , when theologians have proven that everything that was written about Abraham was penned only about 600 years after he lived. (thats if he ever lived)
How can any thinking person of today take this story for its literal correctness?

psh, yeah right! if god hates gays then why are they still here? why, if god hates them, doesnt god destroy them, if he can create people im positive he can kill them. if god can give people free will why cant people accept that and deal with it and let people have the free will everyone has a right to. why can't people who hates god and beleives god hates the gays just let god deal with it and ignore them and keep their thoughts between friends who want to talk about it, its not like gays are going to go away. i know everyone has the right to free speech but im sure everyone has better things to do then talk crap about people they hate why cant you people just discuss it between people who want to hear it or debate about it? i want to know why people are making a big deal out of gays, gays have all the rights that anyone else, i mean we have pets marry when they probably dont know whats going on so why not let all humans marry who they want? this is all confusing please answer me
