This country was founded on the principle that governments should be free from the restraints of religion, and religion should not be interfered with by the government.
I think a true church would be one in which the members are interested in their religion in the church or their homes and not attempt to force others into their beliefs.
A true church would be just that , a place for worship, a place for companionship with other members without interference in their lives.
A church is still a social event no matter if anyone there wants to accept that and it should be treated like one. You don't go to disney world to worship. so don't go to church to ride your neighbors.
A church is a building. nothing else . A building where people assemble for worship or other social events such as celebrations of Christmas, Easter, marriages, or funerals etc. that is how it should be used to me.

THE true Church must be able to:
1. Show that it can trace its origins down to the apostles. This is important because ANYONE can establish a church and claim to proclaim the Word of God and Christ established His Church two thousand years ago not a few years ago.
2. Show that the teachings do not contradic the Bible AND what was already believed by the early Christian Church, which gave us the Bible. This is important because not all was written in the Bible concerning salvation(Example: Trinity, is never mentioned in the Bible although the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are mentioned. Several heresies arose concerning this subject but the early church settled it and defended the true church from those heresies so that today, we exactly know what the Church teaches on the Trinity)
3. That everywhere where that particular church has community, its pastors/leaders and congregants absolutely adhere to the same teachings. God is Truth, God is One, and so Truth is One. If a particular church in X address teaches one thing and the same church teaches a contradiction in Y address then that is not the right Church.

A 'true Church' is one that has certain specific marks that distinguish it:
1] Universality: It is one for all peoples and all nations with a fully broad, international reach.
2] Unity: It is an organization united in its teaching and governance. Christ founded one Church, not many.
3] Apostolic: It must have direct and uninterrupted institutional connections to the Apostles and the Church Fathers.
4] Holy: That doesn't mean everyone is perfect since that is impossible. Rather, it means the teaching and morals advocated foster holiness.
Only the Roman Catholic Church has all these qualifications.

The true church is believing in God and excepting Jesus as your savior.Church is Gods people. The church a person chooses to go to usually has family or friends or hopefully a congregation that believes the same thing as you do or believes on the most part ,as I`ve never seen a church that everyone agreed on everything. So you need a sanctuary that you feel at home in and that goes along with your beliefs.Study the word that no-one can lead you a stray.

The true church is not the building you go to. The true chuch is when the spirit of God dwells in you. When Jesus comes back, He is not coming for a building. Jesus is coming back for the TRUE believers. The real Church is made up of true believers. Not everyone that goes to the Church building is not a part of the true church. Your body is the 'Temple of God'. If you are a born again believer, you are apart of the true church

The Church is the collective body of born-again believers in Christ. It is all Christians who believe that Christ is savior. The church is not a building, it is the people inside. Now you may ask, what constitutes a "believer"? They are the ones who have accepted Christ's redemptive work on the cross. Who have been forgiven of their sins, washed in the blood of Christ and are redeemed. They believe that the Scriptures is the Word of God, and is inerrant in doctrine, ethics and history. That is the true Church.

I belong to a non-denominational Christian church (not Catholic, Lutheran, ect.). We simply worship and praise the Lord in truth and spirit. There are no added routines to our church services. There are weekly Bible study sessions to help our members know and understand the Word of the Lord better. We support missionaries in 9 other nations and several in the US. We help inner city youth seek the Lord. We provide fellowship to those in need.

I am a Jehovah's Witness. I believe it is the religion which most closely follows what the Bible actually teaches. I believe that the people within it are trying harder to live righteously than any other group of people I have ever associated with. I searched many years and really questioned everything I was told. I am convinced that now I am on the road to life. Please join us. You will not regret it.

One that follows the bible 100%. Some claim to do that but when you compare them against the bible you find errors.
Find one that keeps the 10 commandments. The bible 10 commandments written with the finger of God.
