Does anyone here think that God is coming, and that the world is coming to an end, because of recent events in the past few years?

If so... Why?

He said things that show he's not. He said "I am a jealous God" and the "Wrath of God" Shows he can be Angry. Jealousy and Anger, two of the deadly sins, right?

Look, I am a Catholic/Republican. I think peace can only be gained if war is waged against those evil people who go against peace. I understand what hippis say, but look at history, Ceasor kept peace through an Empire. And the land of the free wouldn't have been if it weren't for war. And as for religion, I don't respect gays, athesist, satanist, and anything that goes against the bible. My question is how can people support such things, and how can i be a little bit more open-minded. I hope i caused no offences in my question.

I'm 13, and I've recently overcome a problem: Thinking about death, A LOT! It was really depressing, but I guess this whole thing has moved me closer to God and Religion then I've ever been. I've started believing in an afterlife, and in God in general. But, since this has happened, I feel really restricted. I try to follow in my parents' footsteps. My parents are the type that believe in an afterlife, in God, etc..etc, but don't really take their religion that seriously, they'll say "Oh my God!", and swear occasionally, but for the most part, they're very good people. Every choice I make I seem to over-react, think it's affecting my life in a large way.
I take the bible litteraly where I think I can. I just have a really restricting feeling ever since I started to believe strongly in my religion. If you've answered my other questions, you know I jump around a lot. But, I was just wandering what you guys think is best, or if these feelings are normal.

I would like to have some assistance with some Bible verses to deal with my anxiety. It's absolutely doing me in and I can't seem to shake this problem no matter how hard I try.
Also, if you have any other advice I will gladly accept it.
Please only answer in a proper manner. All negative answers will be ignored but I will pray for you.

If it is done discretely, why can't the immediate family set up a camcorder to record the funeral service? I can understand if it is someone not planning the funeral, but if the only son of his deceased mother wants to tape the mass, why would the priest object? It's not like taping her death, or cremation.

Is there anything wrong with a Christian witnessing only in groups?
Are we ever commanded to only witness alone? Some Christians feel insecure about witnessing alone. Is there anything wrong with that?

I have had a lot of sexual thoughts. I read somewhere that it is a deadly sin. Is that true? I'm not trying to be a sinner, but I can't always control what I think.

it seems like an etching, or wood cut, in the style of dore (whom it may be), depicting a man with one and a half arms; one arm severed, but smooth/healed, seeming, about the elbow, the other holding a torch at, roughly, 45 degree tilt (so that the fuel of the torch's fire would spill from it, though i saw none). to his left (or so it seemed in the program i was watching, that featured it - "history's mysteries: cults" - they may have flipped the picture) appears to be a man, kneeling, looking not unlike a durer christ. it may be meant to convey sparks falling from the torch entering the man (it was used in a segment on gnosticism). it may be merely a small part of a larger picture. any clues? a link, to verify it's the same work, would be useful. further: why is the standing man (perhaps crowned with leaves?) maimed? i've studied something of gnosticism, but don't recognise this symbol. it has a blakean feel, about it, but the art is not as "simple". who are these figures?

Notice the word: ANOTHER?

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

if the comforter is the holyspirit as John has claimed, then why would Jesus call the holyspirit with another?
another means = another one.
