I would like to have some assistance with some Bible verses to deal with my anxiety. It's absolutely doing me in and I can't seem to shake this problem no matter how hard I try.
Also, if you have any other advice I will gladly accept it.
Please only answer in a proper manner. All negative answers will be ignored but I will pray for you.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me--practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:6-9

Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

ALWAYS REMEMBER GOD IS IN CONTROLL!

Read psalm 121.
Psalm 91
Psalm 23

Read it out loud to yourself if you have to.

Deep breathing is also good. Exercise will help you a great deal. Brisk walking 30 minutes a day is good.
Valerian tea is a natural remedy for anxiety, so is passion flower tea. Tough they taste horrible! They work wonderfully.
You should be very carefull however, these two herbs are very potent, they dilate blood vessels a bit. If you take blood pressure or heart medication, you should ask your pharmacist if valerian and passion flower tea can interact with any medication you might be taking.

Praying is good also. Tell God about your fears, mabe you already did, but tell God again. Trust Jesus, he 'll never let you down.
Laughter is also good.
Try not to worry, you are under the protection of a wonderfull loving and omnipotent God.
I often say: I have small faith in a great God!

Take care and May the Lord bless you.

Ok, here it is...

Go to a psychologist.

No, I'm not saying that to be snarky or cruel. I truly think that if you've had recurring and disruptive anxiety then you should see a professional about it. It's not anything to be ashamed about, plenty of people suffer from anxiety.

Here, answer these questions for yourself:

Have you been bothered by persistent anxiety for at least 3 months? Are you having panic attacks? Are you prevented from participating in normal activities that you would otherwise enjoy? Do you have trouble concentrating at work, at home, when you're trying to sleep? Are you having any unusual aches and pains in your shoulders, your neck, your head, your joints?

If you're answering yes to all or most, you really should see a doctor. Do you have health coverage? Most plans cover mental health visits and medications, if necessary.

Good luck.

Are you drinking a lot of soda, or things with high fructose corn syrup? Are you low on vitamin B's? Both of these can contribute to anxiety. Look up the effect of high fructose corn syrup on your body's cortisol. (Also spelled cortizol.) I gave up the sodas, (which I was using to help me "deal with the stress") started taking my vitamins and I am now ok. If I have a normal little stress, I can deal with it. Before, at any little thing, I let it turn into a great big thing. And to think, it was just soda. I have been completely soda free since the 1st of this year. (And I was a "soda-aholic.") It takes a lot of will power, but I am worth it. Yes, I said that I am worth it. So are you.
I really hope this helps. Meanwhile read Leviticus 26: 3-6. Before I knew that it was the corn syrup, I held onto this verse.
Also, divide and conquer any real stress, take small steps, and get it out of your life. It may take a while, but you won't regret it.

You've already gotten some good advice, which I am taking to heart as well.

I would also recommend that you talk to a clergy member or your doctor about your anxiety. I have struggled with anxiety since the birth of my second child, which corresponded to learning that my first child had mild developmental delays. Although I still worry/obsess about some things, medication has given me my life back. That in combination with my faith and the love and support of my friends and family is what keeps me going.

Good for you for asking for help. May you find the peace you are seeking.

Wow, you really have gotten some great answers so far.
For me, it's always the 23rd Psalm:
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want...

I remember my Grandmother teaching me to say that one line over and over again, stressing different words each time...
The LORD...Who is my Shepherd...the Lord, great and powerful!
The Lord IS...never doubt it, He is your Shepherd!
The Lord is MY...yes, He loves even ME!!
The Lord is my SHEPHERD!! He will look after me just as a shepherd looks after his sheep...
I was a child then, I'm 55 now, and I have to admit, sometimes I still put myself to sleep this way, or by repeating the entire psalm...

What more do you need than Phillipians 4:6 ? I would question that "restless spirit" stuff. Some people think there's a demon behind every tree. That's not healthy.

Phil 2:6-"Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God,and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus." (One of my favorites!)
Mat.6:34-"Never be anxious about the next day,for the next day will have its own anxieties.Sufficient for each day is its own badness."That counsel given by Jesus is certainly practical for all of our living in to-days fast paced and stressful society.
Ps.55:22-"Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you...:
And also have a read of what Jesus says found at Matt.6:25-32.As always he offers such wonderful counsel.
Sometimes if we cannot keep ourselves in control, there is no shame in getting some medical assistance in coping with the anxiety.Find a sympathetic doctor you can talk to.
