Bad Buddhist,
REALLY? Because I never read a book about Hitler. And I think that being Nazi is a bad thing. Should I suspend that opinion until I read a book?

jaz o and David G,
So I can't rely on those that talk to me that are Muslim who want special punishments for anybody in a country where they are dominant, where they see no Separation of Church and State and demand that the governments form according to Sharia. They hack off Christians hands in Malasia and Indonesia, and tell me that they are "Peaceful Muslims" who support that idea?

Artist and Jamal,
I have a Quaran with commentary. It's a thick green book. With 8:12 in it. Isn't that something to know. Is that knowledge, to know that if I am an Unbelever, that my fingers and neck should be struck from me?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Islam is an evil religion.
I HAVE read the quran and believe me, it was obviously written by man with satan as the inspiration.

Before stating what you believe, you absolutely MUST understand what you believe and WHY you believe it.
If you are a follower of Christianity, be prepared to state the logical reasons for your belief; the same with Islam or any other belief. Make no mistake, someone, somewhere will call upon you to explain your reasoning. If you want to be taken seriously, be prepared to give an answer. If you do not care whether you are taken seriously, then what you have is not Faith. Come now, and let us reason together.--Isaiah 1-18,
By the way, Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, with over one billion followers. That's one billion opportunities for you to witness for God.
As a Christian you must be able to understand not only your faith but others, too, in order to be an effective witness for Christ. Inability to do so renders a great disservice to God, because it disregards His instruction. You can see how it would also be a grave disservice to mankind.
Methinks that would be very hard to explain on Judgment Day.

I don't think you necessarily have to read a book about Islam, although it would be informative, but speaking to people who practice Islam might give you another view of the religion and the people who follow it. You simply cannot judge an entire group of people by the acts of a few.

I do agree. The news media likes to tell the bad side of everything, and this is where your information comes from..(ex. Have you noticed you also hear only about bad teenagers--never the good ones?) So many people think Muslim means terrorist----------because of the news media. You never hear about the good side of the religion and the good people.
Learn about the religion first. I think you will judge very differently.

This is quit true. Get a grounding in the subject so you can decide better as to weither or not these people are just extremests or terriousts. The ones that are in the papers that is.
Every religion seems to have its bad apples that show up sooner or later in history.

Yes. I agree.
You shouldn't talk about something you don't know about; whether it is Islam or any other issue.
