It's normal. I'm a girl and I have sexual thoughts. It's part of life and if your feeling guilty go to confession and get it off your chest buddy.

Why not try reading the bible for yourself and see what it really says. Not what you think it says. You might be surprised by what you read. And how uncomplicated it can really be.
What you are describing is impurity. Go read up on it. You must not rely on the opinions of others only. Hey, they might be very wrong - and you will never know for yourself. Then where does that leave you?
People judge one sin over another as being more serious, or more "deadly". God does not judge in the same way. To him, sin is sin.

Not so much the thoughts, but rather acting out on the thoughts (in a sinful way) and entertaining these (sinful) thoughts as something you'd want to do I think would be a sin.

Thinking is a beautiful thing. It is our thoughts that help us believe in God, distinguish right from wrong, and act responsibly. God gave us an imagination to think of all our possibilities, and an impulse control center to decide what to act on. Who am I to say what is a sin and what isn't? But I believe that as long as you treat other people well you'll be okay.

There is only one sins that you can not be forgiven for and that for you to reject what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He died for your sins, He was buried and took away your sins and He rose again the third day for your justification. Believe and trust in that and you will have forgiveness of all your sins. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Being normal and doing normal things is not a sin. It becomes sin when your conscience conjures up these thoughts to satisfy your lust.
When such thoughts come into your mind, rebuke them by thinking of the green grass Our Lord has prepared for us to lie down on when we are with Him in Heaven.><>

You are having these thoughts because you are HUMAN. If any religious person condemns you, then that person is a self-righteous hypocrite and a control freak!
Do not let these things bother you -- unless you consider it a sin also to become hungry or thirsty. It is all part of human nature. And don't feel guilty -- although there are certainly all kinds of people who would want you to feel badly, because they want to control and intimidate you. You don't need their approval or transference of guilt!
Be your own person and think for yourself.

We are all human, but we can not let our thoughts control our lives. We are all sinners (Romans 3:23), but that doesn't mean that we need to let sin control us. We will all have problems with thoughts, but what we do with them is what we need to work on.
Jesus told us if we lust in our heart then we have committed adultery in our hearts and that we should confess to that. 1John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just of forgive them. You need to turn completely away from this sin. Even Jesus was tempted as we are but without sin.

First, all sin is deadly...
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23)
Now about the sexual thoughts, yeah, they are a sin, but it's hard to stop. That's why you need to guard against it. next time you catch yourself doing it, change the subject in your mind. Sooner or later, it will just become habit. Good luck, and don't forget, God forgives, so don't be scared to ask for it. <><

Well, if a thought pops into your head I wouldn't worry about it. If you become a bit obsessed with these feelings, then yes, it is a sin. I wouldn't worry about it though. If you call that a sin then you're in for some big trouble, buddy. Everyone has these thoughts, don't worry!
