I know all about the first cause paradox but as Stephen Hawking once said, "The Universe just is" In an infinite universe, there is no beginning. There was no actual starting point. Of course for us, we live in the most recent "cycle" of life for the universe. That the big bang is just the most current "birth". That the universe is in an infinite series of expansions and contractions. If this was really the case, how can you have a creator? When there is no need for one.

Tell me how anything can come from nothing without a higher being. Tell me how this planet suites us perfectly according to the Word of God and yet is considered random. The scientific mind often seems to try and disprove creation as opposed to proving evolution. Please, someone fill in the gap.

An elder informed me of a particular college, or at least place of higher education, that requires all applicants to have at least one parent who is a 'born again' Christian. I can not recall the name of this place, however. I am curious because I am acutually somewhat shocked, and would like to find out the reasons why they would have this particular requirement. Does anyone know of an institution that holds this requirement?

the bible is an over dated book. if god created everything and Man right after, howcom we found that dinosaurs existed long before man? and other beings before that?

how is it that we found old figures looking like man but just a bit differant such as the homoerectus?

y is it that people dont believe in science wich is much more logic and most of all is Proof, but people believe everything that they read in a book with No proof at all?? is it because this book is very well reten? i would really like to know...

y is it that people believe in heaven? maby they need to know they will go somwhere better when they die? heaven to me seems to beutiful to be true and hell to horribal to be real...

I respect christianity as much as i respect my own religion but i have some questions so please try to answer them in HATE-FREE MODE!

1)Do you think jesus will come back?
2)Is there any verse in bible in which jesus himself said that he was son of god?
3)If jesus was god then why he have to come to world and die for the sins of christians; he already is God and he dont need to do that because he can remove anyones sins without dying.
4)How many types of bibles are there? I mean do Protestants have different bible? Catholics different? in total how many are their?

Please these are just questions i just want to increase my knowledge...

Look, I am a Catholic, and i have many aspirations: General, Admiral, President, King, blabala. But now I understand that I like to preach the word of the Bible all the time. And being that I am a saggittaurious which often become priests. So I don't know if I am being called or not. I mean I think I wanna be a Priest, but My Mom And My Uncle are very faithful christians. My Grandma is the only one that understands and knows. So should I tell me family, or keep it secret. I mean, I don't wanna pop out when I am 20 and say "Hey, mom, I am a priest." But I don't wanna be critizised because of my strong faith. Could anybody help me. Should I tell them, or pop out say I'm priest and old age. I mean I originaly wanted to be a deacon, and they know that, but I always take things many steps further.

i am a christian but the bible gives no proof of a literal devil. The bibilical satan is more of an adversery and not a fallen angel. christians have misundersood isaiah 14 which mentions about the morning star that fell from heaven. This speaks about the king of babylon and not of a fallen angel
am i right?

I am a Christian but I completely respect both athiests and agnostics. I was just wondering, for all you athiests out there, how can you actually be an athiest-knowing that there could not possibly be any god at all? It seems that it would make much more sense to be an agnostic, which neither believes nor disbelieves in God. I know a lot of agnostics but no athiests, and the agnostics all believe that it's impossible to be an actual athiest. So just out of curiousity (I really do not want to offend anyone here, i just want to know) what made you know that there isn't a god? Or are athiests really not certain there isn't one but call themselves athiests instead of agnostics because more people know what athiesm is?
