From a Hindu's point of view, God is neither male nor female. As Hindus we have 'millions' of gods. God could take the form of male or female depending on the work that has to be done. God is an omnipotent force that is the good within all of us. God takes the form of Shakti or the female aspect to carry out specific duties, or god can be male to carry out other duties. You're a father, brother, son, cousin etc. but you're still the same John Public, right?

This is one more evidence of the nonexistence of god. If god were masculine or feminine, god would be incomplete and therefore imperfect. So by definition a perfect god cannot have a characteristic like "only male" or "only female".

God is for sure a man. but that doesn't mean we don't have a mother. If we are spirit children of God then there must be a mother.

I've always thought god was female. For many reasons, one being god gave birth to earth and life, and same goes for most living creatures on earth. It's always the female.

If God is a woman, then why do we call God "Father"? Don't you think that might be a little awkward?

God is a spirit, who in my opinion has no gender, but I can see why people would think he was male.

the world was created imperfect, to believe that God has a gender is to believe that he is imperfect. there are three answers to the question, God is neither, God is both, God is neither and both because (s)he exists outside our minds confines.
