An elder informed me of a particular college, or at least place of higher education, that requires all applicants to have at least one parent who is a 'born again' Christian. I can not recall the name of this place, however. I am curious because I am acutually somewhat shocked, and would like to find out the reasons why they would have this particular requirement. Does anyone know of an institution that holds this requirement?

In some private Colleges, if they recieve no tax $$$ they can do that (since it's technically private property).

I know of a Christian high school that requires a statement of faith from the parents. I'm sure there are many Christian high schools and colleges with that requirement. Why is that shocking? They are private schools. If they want to set high standards for their students they should be able to.
