Hmm, I know they use "In God We Trust" on their money, so why shouldn't they be hypocrites about that as well?

Sorry, not all atheists are like that, but there sure a lot of low brow, uniformed ones on this site. Please, prove me wrong and contact me for informed discussion.

Athiests and Agnostics often have to quote many religious sayings as they teach people the inner madness that haunts religious people. How else can you help and free innocent people from the horrors of religion?

Just look at the irrational form of your question and consider this ...

It’s also a well known fact that intellectually handicapped people are often quoted as being the happiest people in the world. They are so blissfully unaware of the true world around them, and see and believe reality to be quite different in their mental worlds.

I think religious people are blessed with a similar “handicapped” gift which would explain why they see and believe in the imaginary world of religion, God and the Bible. I think religious people are also blissfully unaware of reality in their mentally handicapped world. This could help, explain their irrational behaviour.

Any word or any saying could be used in any context, but alas, not so for the irrational religious mind.

I'm sure they use it as much as anyone does these days. Also, I'm sure that it means as much to most people that use it as it does to the athiests and the agnostics...which is to say, it has nothing to do with God.

I do. I try not to say it much in public because I have insulted some people for using God's name in vain and I felt badly, but when I get scared or upset I tend to say it a lot. I guess I just don't know what else to say. "Oh your God!" just doesn't have as nice of a ring to it.

I am an atheist..can't tell you about what an "athiest" says, but no i have removed that phrase from my lexicon after having thrown off the shackles of religion. I do know other atheists who do use that expression.

Sure. Why not? It's just as good as any other exclamation.

Remember, exclamations are not statements of belief.

Yes, and so what? I also say "go to Hell" or "what a son of a b..!" Religious and no religious exclamations are all around.

Already witty answers coming in. Your mouth will say "Oh my God". I was wrong. I must hide." when Jesus returns.
