His light was always always on me, but I rejected it until I was 21. Then I was saved from being murdered by an angel of the one, true, God, and I could no longer deny or reject His existence.
Peace be with you.

I was about 14 when I started questioning Christianity-what you refer to as ''his light''? As it was almost the only religion I had ever come in contact with (living in small towns), I saw no way to leave, to show a change of ideas, to be exposed to other ideas, etc.,. I was 30 when I converted to Judaism, and that was a long time ago. I am very happy here.
Have you ever studied and given other viewpoints a chance? I think it would be very good for you to at least study Judaism and Islam. They both are worthwhile ways to G-d. At least, it would perhaps even strengthen your own religion.

I grew up in the church, but the first time I really got it was in 6th grade. That was when I decided to get baptized. I "crossed into His light" I guess sorta slowly, over the many years I spent surrounded by supportive friends in the church. It all just came together in 6th grade.

Well, if God created me, and God saw me back before the beginning of time, then didn't I "cross into the light" all the way back then?

I was 15...I had grown up Catholic, did the sacraments and learned all about the traditions and rituals of that faith, but found it cold, heartless and confusing. (I mean, wassup with mortal/venial sin?)
A friend told me about faith in the living God as taught in the Bible...I was pretty skeptical about a God who loves me more than I can possibly imagine or believe, and I decided to investigate. There was nothing that could have prepared me for the change in me when I surrendered to the loving will of a nurturing Father who had been waiting for me since I was concieved...
Sorry, can't help myself! God is amazing...

I was 34, i drove a big caddy , owned a home was a bachelor and would have remained one but for a religious Epiphany. I can't give my testimony, but my job put me in multiple carnal situations. women were plentiful. until one woman who belonged to a cult beckoned me. i knew she was wrong, but didn't know what was right. I started seeking , going from church to church until I was able with prayer to discern the word of truth. The more I knew the clearer it became. I saw things I had never heard men say. I understood. Years before , i was shot in Viet Nam . I should have died , but I didn't because I was destined to know him and didn't. I am now ready for the first death.

I crossed out at the age of seventeen because never really believed in what my parents believed and I moved out and no longer had to live by their rules.

I don't know the exact time, it was always with me, but I ignored it until I was almost 40. It was then that I realized what was missing from my life. I got back into church and was baptized when I was 40, and have grown in the Faith ever since.

I was 25 years old and I was looking for something greater than myself to believe in and look to for guidance. My husband has always been a devoted Christian and he helped show me the path after having strayed from it for a very long time.

I don't know about any light, but I thought a noodly appendage of some sort tapped me on the shoulder a while back.
