The goal within my church is to make it an "experience" for the younger generation rather than a traditional typical boring Sunday service most of our parents/grandparents grew up with ... What does the younger generation like/dislike about attending church? What are some ideas that may make church more enjoyable? etc, etc ...Thanks!

that you have heard the voice of God. If so, can you tell the situation and what he said to you. I believe that God talks to us. Some people believe that it's your conscience, but I don't believe that. I believe that God really speaks to you, if your close to him. Be it in your spirit, or in your heart, but I truly believe that you can hear the voice of God. Examples anyone?

Doesn't it make more sense that the bible was made in an effort to control the pagans (commoners and ungoverned) at the time that it was created?

500 bc - Old testament first completed: the 5th century b.c. and an age of war and conflict. Between 490 and 479 B.C., Greece was invaded by the army and naval fleet of the Persian Empire. By about 500 B.C. the Greek city states had lost their kings (with the exception of Sparta) and had embraced a new form of government through councils of citizens.

1st century A.D. - Creation of the 27 books of the new testament. It would stand to reason that there was a "Religion Race" as Buddhist monks in Sri Lanka first write down Buddha's teachings, creating the Pali canon.

by 500 a.d. the bible was translated into over 500 languages.

To me, it would seem that it's creation along with the coming of the messiah (Jesus) fit a little too perfectly into history. Especially since 500 b.c. was also a time of philosophical brilliance in the world.

I saw comments from a couple of particular individuals who will remain nameless on this website. One of these people's comments (questions) were usually sarcastic and derogatory toward God and the Bible. I suggested to this person that maybe if he would ask the questions in a more respectful way, that he would get a better response. This person did just that, he asked a respectful question, made some good suggestions on how to solve a problem, and was attacked by people claiming to be Christian. When atheists and others who don't like religion come to this website and are attacked by so called Christians claiming to follow Jesus teachings, all I can say is no wonder they are so turned off to the Bible's message. How many of us are attracted to God, the Bible or Jesus after being told we are "going to burn in hell"? Do you honestly expect to draw a person to God that way?

I thought baby Jesus and God loved little children.

2nd Kings

2:23 And [Elisha] went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Does it depend on how much money you have?
Or is it all about publicity?

I know it usually goes -
crazy man,
crazy man being followed around by weak-minded people,
cult,
cult oppressed by the government and society,
sneaky politician (or warrior king) who uses the cult to further his career,
social acceptance of the cult,
mandatory membership in the cult for all of society,
Holy war,
Inquisition,
Schism,
genocidal attempt to get rid of cult,
return to 'promised land',
annihilation of indigenous people to make room for true believers, TV movie of the week.

Is there a way to skip through some of these steps so I can see the TV movie of the week about my cult's struggles?
(Not looking for a Branch Davidian thing though.)

Full verse:

As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Romans 9:13

If God hates Esau, who else does he hate? Bet you were taught that God loves everyone and hates no one. Now do you see that Satanic doctrine that God doesn't hate anyone contradicts the bible?
Do you still choose to believe the humanistic teaching that God hates the sin but loves the sinner over believing what the bible actually teaches?

These are just a few scripture telling us that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh.

Trinitarians are those who believe in the Trinity, believe that they're three seperate gods- however they're is only one LORD/ GOD, JESUS!
Don't be fouled the trinity is man made. It was created by the Catholic religion in 325 ad, some of the bishops could not conprenhend that God came down from glory, and put on flesh(Jesus) but did not cease to be God! So they decided to creat three seperate god- Father, Son, Holyghost , which they call the holy trinity- false doctrine!

Let's try this again.
While you, rapture believers, are still in the flesh waiting for the rapture.
Would you believe on the rapture? Would you fall for the deception of the fake Jesus that will sit in Jerusalem?
Let me give it to you straight.
The devil will come first. He will look like Jesus. He is going to claim that he is Jesus. He will do miracles in order to convince you that he is Jesus.
The true Jesus will come after this. There is no rapture.
We all will be transformed in to the spirit when the true, and one and only, Jesus comes.
2 Thessalonians 2:
3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he, as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
