You're not crazy at all. In fact, talking out loud like that is actually a type of "affirmation", where you are reinforcing your belief in God for your personal strength and inner balance. It gives you the courage and support you desire for dealing with the "guilt" you feel over how your life (until this point) has progressed. And it fuels those desires to make better choices for yourself so that you can move forward without compunction and remorse. Life is a journey of self-discovery, of learning, and we all make mistakes or bad choices, but we definitely learn something from them. You have identified some of the negative influences in your life, made a conscious effort to find more positive influences, so that you can find (and maintain through the affirmations) your own sense of peace and inner balance.

I don't think you're crazy at all. The fact that you realized your mistakes is, in my opinion, the first step towards becoming a better person. The next step would be to apologize to those people and try not to repeat the same mistakes. This is usually quite difficult and the more help you get, the better. People can help to a certain extent, it's true, but when people can't do anything for you anymore, God is still there to help you. You only have to believe it.

No, you dont need help. Although I would maybe lay off the God stuff....
What has happened is that youve suddenly matured. thats all. I went throught the same exact thing...almost. It took me asking a girl to marry her and then catching her f*&king my best friend for me to realize all the pain and misery I had caused to others in life. It taught me a hard lesson. God had nothing to do with it. I had everything to do with it. I had cheated on her in the past, I had cheated on others. This concept is called Karma by some... It paid me back hard.
Life since then has gone on, and its gotten better too. Because I learned what a pig I was and how to change it. And since then, Ive met a better girl and we are now engaged. And I wont ever do that again to anyone.
Good luck.

For starters crazy people never ask themselves that very important question. If you are guilty of causing someone else pain, then join the human race. There isnt one of us on this planet that is not guilty of that. Dont talk to yourself in your mind, your mind didnt have the answers then why would it now? Have you fed your mind any new information to answer the question? If not then you will only get the same answer or different versions of it. That is the definition of insanity to keep putting in the same ingredients while expecting different results.
Ever considered spending daily time in the Bible? It is a light unto your feet and a lamp unto your path in life.

No, you are not crazy. You are probably becoming sane for the first time in your life. You have received a communication from God, possibly through your spirit guides, who communicate with us in this way, offering us guidance, when we are ready for it or need direction most. Congratulations. Keep the lines of communication open by clearing your mind through meditation on a regular basis. It won't necessarily come in the form of words or thoughts as it did this time, it may be much more subtle, but you will be spiritually ready to receive and recognize it.
I also recommend the following series of books, which discuss communication with God. They are EXCELLENT!
God bless!

No, you're not crazy, unless GOD Himself starts talking to you and telling you to do bad things. Listen, sometimes we just need someone to lean on. If God is trying to give you message that you should lean on him, then do it. Stop thinking about all the why's and what if's. Just lean. I didn't believe in God until I was nineteen and challenged him to prove his existence by helping me out of a really bad situation. The next day, I was saved. Don't question why you're learning this stuff or just now figuring it out, just go with it.

That is God grabbing you by the heart. If you have accepted Jesus before, then that is God in the form of the Holy Spirit saying "Dude WAKE UP! I am here for you. I'll be your strength. I will never let you down." Better listen, because when God speaks so audibly He has something GREAT and POWERFUL for your life.

You know where your help comes from, Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than put confidence in a man.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God:
2nd Samuel 23:3 The God of my rock;in him will I trust: he is my shield, and horn of my salvation,my high tower, and my refuge,my Savior;thou savest me from violence
Psalms 121:1-2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD,which made heaven and earth.
I think it's okay to share with people however we all have our issues

Hello....Personally I think it seems sometimes that we all think ourselves as being a little "crazy" where at times we just simply do not have the answers. I think it is a great idea that you have to talk with someone who may be able to work with you in helping you to put a perspective in order to answer your own questions which you are presently pondering. I do this all the time....I seek out my counselling service....where you choose to seek out to help place a good perspective for your own learning...will present itself ...Good Luck....

This is the Holy Spirit speaking to you. He is opening up your heart because through the guilt you are feeling because of your past sin you have opened up the door to him. Your next step is to ask God for forgiveness of your sins and invite Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. Give your life to Christ and experience the majesty of being born again. Jesus loves you and he wants you in his kingdom very much. God bless you.
