Yes I pray often. At every meal, before going to bed, as a family in the evenings, and when I get up in the morning. I also pray before I study scriptures so I understand what I read and can apply it to my life. I pray when I need guidence throughout my day, or when something happens right in my life. I pray when I have bad things in my life to help me either make it through, or so I know why it's happening. I pray in church, we usually have at least 8 prayers- 4 in sacrament meeting and 2 in each of my other 2 classes. We are a very prayerful people.

Yes I do pray daily more than once during the day. I do so because I know that God is the head of my world and he decides all of our fates. I pray for guidance and wisdom. I pray to put things in perspective. I pray to keep evil away. I pray for the salvation of my soul.

I meditate, as I enjoy the feeling of spirituality and emotional connectedness during my practice.
While I feel this is very similar to prayer, society in general views it differently because the focus is not on a particular god. So, I guess I don't pray, since my meditation doesn't focus on a god. It may be incorporated at times, but it's not the reason for it.

Yes I do. I pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. I pray alot. For things I see during the day, for things I see on the news, for my family, for the people at work. It's a privilege to be able to come to God because of His son.

A simple thank you when you wake up in the morning is a prayer.
But i do not pray the Our Father or the Hail Mary, people have bastardized the meaning of the prayer.

I pray for numerous reasons, but what it all boils down to is that I pray to grow closer to God. I pray, because it is through prayer that I can build a relationship with Jesus Christ.
