I have been on "ask yahoo' for 3 days now in this forum...and what stands out most to me is the expressed pain, hurt and judgement christians inflict upon other people. What a horrible testimony to our Lord Jesus Christ. As a Christian, I am so sorry and I ask your forgiveness.........

Hey Penny,

i wholeheartedly concur. Christians are to express the truth but with love, otherwise their words are like a clanging cymbal. Hopefully this verse will encourage other believers to encourage others with a Christ-like manner:

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that i may proclaim it clearly, as i should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation always be full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. (Colossians 4:2-4:6).

This was the attitude of apostle Paul who was bold with his faith, but able to win many to Christ because of his gentle gracious spirit.

God Bless You Penny for your honest humility and willingness to confess how we all fall short of God's glory. Praying for gracious opportunities to share God's love...

I am a Christian and sure your forgiven...

But have you seen the hate towards Christians here? Everyother question is blasfemy, hatred or racist towards Christians....

Maybe it is because some have strayed from the Bible, but most of the Hate is just for no reason... the only thing that they can come up with is the "Crussades" those christians are terrorist....

Don't you realize that the users that usually call themselves Christians and then say hateful things are not Christian, they just want to make our faith look bad... of course there are those that are Christians but they don't do what the Bible says....

THen there are True Christians.... ones that follow this from the Bible...

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you."- Matthew 5:44, the Bible

I follow that teaching

and I forgive those that hate Christians....

And I forgive those of you people that Call your self Christian and at the same time hate and judge others...

May God bless you and yours...

God help us....

Your brother in Christ, splinterjah

I have seen ur profile and I don't understand how you can ask ur first question against Christians by being judgmental and only been on this site for 3 days. You have answered questions that wasn't posted for you as christian. You are compromising with unbelievers and that's not cool. You made a comment to atheist question that " All religions think that they are the one true religions." What's that about? Every "True Christian" knows that God despises religion period. They are the ones who had Jesus crucified which were religious fools. You can't apologize for anyone for it is invalid only those who have made the insult must give in account to God or repent now! God only forgives us our sins. Your motive Back fired because I hope you were drawing forth atheists and not Christians with ur title which is hypocritical. I pray that you will ask for forgiveness towards Christians just for generalizing because not all Christians are like that. Think About It!

Praying 4 ya! You definitely need it.

human beings generally situations overlook the undeniable fact that whilst they're saved, they might nonetheless sin. all of us be conscious of we are Christian if we like one yet another. that's between the "earmarks" of a Christian. we are to construct one yet another up, no longer tear down. criticism is each and every from time to time seen as encouraging, whilst it generally situations isn't. each and every from time to time human beings do no longer think of of what they're doing. no longer each and every physique are like that. we are all on the line to adulthood in Christ, some are farther alongside than others, and that i gotta think of that some human beings have basically stopped alongside the way and have not stepped forward any farther. we've each and every physique at one time or yet another been jumped on, or antagonistic for one ingredient or yet another. Survival? For me, i glance to work out if what they say has any validity. if so, i alter. If no longer, then I overlook approximately it. I emerge greater proper for it the two way.

Did you make a judgment?

Can you discern who is a real Christian and who is not?

Have you judged that all on the forum are Christians?

I am forgiven, it was done on the cross for ALL my sins.
Not part of them. Past Present and Future.
All do you get the implication?

Do you subscribe to the "I'm an old sinner saved by Grace operation?"

Or do you subscribe to?
Eph 2:1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
Eph 2:2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
Eph 2:3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
Eph 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

heh that's not all they do. you should see how most of the churches actually kill each others in wars and call themselves Christians.

the 'crusades' was in the name of Christianity.

not much has changed now adays. Christians fight other religions and they even attack each other for their beliefs and ways of doing things.

they ignore both the commands to be no part of the world, and to love everyone. things jesus's true followers should do.
in order to properly imitate Christ, no Christians should attack anyone without good reason, or just because of their beliefs.

If you ever find a perfect Christian on earth, it'll be after Jesus comes. And unfortunately, you are right about what you say. More of us Christians really need to READ our Bibles and apply what it actually says, not what we think it should say.

You are right. People don't make fun of people and hurt them unless someone hurt them previously. Most angry unbelievers have been hurt by people who call themselves Christian.

We can't afford to by offended by these people, since our brothers are the ones who made them offend! But boy, is it hard sometimes!

Why do you pretend to be Christian, and why do you think you can fool the true Children of Christ with your hateful lies? Be thee gone, deceitful Jew.

I have no respect for organized religion because of this. I tried to go to church and saw how hipocritical christians are and have decided i want nothing to do with it. I have had friends who call themselves christians that think nothing of taking advantage of people, rip people off and criticize people for their problems. If this is how you show you are like christ... i want nothing to do with it.
