Oh yes, that old chestnut. "The bible is true because the bible says it's true".

Yes the trinity is real. The term trinity means 3 distinct personalities in one. The trinity does not mean 3 different lords. God the Father + Jesus the Son + the Holy Spirit = God,our Lord and Savior. Jesus is God in the flesh

Actually it's not false doctrine..
Look at Genesis 1.. everything God creates... "God created Light, and it was good" and so on, but not for man.
"Let US create man in OUR image. To be like OURSELVES"
This illustrates that God is multiple personalities in one. There is God (the Father in Heaven), Jesus Christ (His Son on Earth), and The Holy Spirit (that dwells within us when we accept Jesus). Three seperate entities.. ALL ONE GOD!
Mark 12:29 "Hear O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one."
John 10:30 "I and the Father are one."
John 14:6-7a "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father also."
John 5:16-18 "But Jesus answered them, 'My Father is working still, and I am still working.' This was why the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God."
John 15:23 "Whoever hates me hates my Father also."
John 10:37-38 "If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."
John 14:10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works."
John 5:19-20 "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise. The Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing; and he will show him greater works than these, so that you will be astonished."
John 8:42 "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now I am here. I did not come on my own, but he sent me."
Luke 10:22 "All things have been handed over to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."
The Bible says that every believer has the Holy Spirit living within (Romans 8:9), but God's desire is for there to be a growing experience in Him. There is a definite experience of being "baptised" in the power of the Holy Spirit (read the account in Acts 19:1-7). And even after this baptism in the Holy Spirit, the believer should be continually "filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18: Acts 4:31) This "infilling" is designed to be like "a stream of living water" flowing out from within (John 7:38-39).
I'm sorry my friend, but you are mistaken. Study some more.

This Roman Catholic of over 5 decades would like to correct your understanding of what we believe about God. We don't believe there are "three gods" as you spew forth. Never have. Never will. We believe that there are three persons in One God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, ALL IN THE SAME AND ONLY GOD!! And in each aspect of God there are multiple, or shall I say infinite, qualities. That doesn't mean that we believe there are an infinite number of Gods, but that there are an infinite number of qualities in the same God. Just like all the other non-Catholics, you opened your mouth before checking the facts. Get it together. God Bless you, from a Roman Catholic of 54 years.

Apparently your brain is too small to comprehend that God could be three parts but yet one God. Just because Catholics have three names for the three aspects of God does not mean that it's not the same God, genius: it's God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
And the previous responses (esp. the first guy) raise a very good point. Quoting from the Bible is never going to convince those who do not believe you. To convince a non-believer you have to appeal to something in which they believe - their own senses, nature, science, etc. - and convince them that their beliefs support the existence and nature of God.

You are no doubt a Christian, though somewhat misguided. Jesus told the disciples the only way to the Father is by me. As for the Holy Spirit, he appeared as a dove on Jesus' shoulder after John the Baptist baptized Jesus, and a voice from heaven said this is my son, in whom I am well pleased. Delve a little deeper into the bible, OK?

Okay the Trinity is something that is hard for our pea-size brains to understand but basically it means that God is manifested in three different ways Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Think if it like water it is manifested in three different ways, liquid, solid, and gas. And of course Jesus was manifested in flesh how else could he come and live among us and be one of us?

The Swedenborgian Church is a "oneness" Christian Church. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is like the soul, the body and the works in a single person.
The Son of God refers to the Divine Human, the body that the infinite God made visible for Himself.

I believe in the trinity that they are of the same spirit but they each have separate jobs . Jesus is now at the right of God the Father makeing intercession for us. God created us and desires to have fellowship with us His children. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin in our lives and enpowers from on high.

Jesus Christ is not God. You are distorting the Bible and from a truly Christian point of view, you may be guilty of blasphemy. Jesus was the son of God, as we are all sons and daughters of God. I believe God exists, even if fanatical Christians are providing evidence to the contrary. You cannot know the nautre of God or restrict him/her/it by your own limited understanding knowledge and imagination. Anything else is a lie or self-deception. There are many paths to God. You are on a path that is not going towards God.
