Prayer is a request, as was stated in one of the answers to my last question. However, the definition did not equate worship.

As a Catholic, I believe that Worship is the Sacrifice of the Mass, partaking in the Sacrament of Eucharist. I not only understand that THROUGH HIM, WITH HIM AND IN HIM IN UNITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, ALL GLORY AND HONOR BELONGS TO THE FATHER FOREVER AND EVER, I take that sacrifice in, unworthy as I may be, to heal me.

I know this because I know the Lord.

WAIT! Before you answer, I was asking because God will not be found in a building or a piece of wood. Or any religion for that matter will not be found in a temple or building. Its in peoples hearts but yet some people feel the need to say that you need to do this and that. People do stuff their way, in every aspect of life. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but religion is found in your heart not a peice or wood or steel.

Three years back a Christian preacher managed to convert a stupid friend of mine(he was stupid back then). What made him convinced was the statement of the preacher:"Are you sure that you will go to heaven if you die today? Take refuge now to our Lord Jesus and you are saved".
My friend cried and became a Christian and ask the preacher to say something to him. That preacher told him" Hallaluulluah!! Jesus
my Lord--you are now filled with Holy Spirit and He will always guide you and you are assured Salvation.
Three years later:
My friend pissed on the Bible yesterday. He is a voodo-pagan now.
Strange???

For the Believers , such as myself, we believe that after someone dies they go to meet god for judgement. And judging by their actions, God gives the final verdict of going to either heaven or hell. For the Athiest who believe there is not a god, believe that you die and your body rots, and thats the end. Now If there is not a god, then when we die, I as a christian wont be missing anything because my body will just rot and i'll cease to exist. But what if from the christian point of view, When I die I do see there is truly a god and I didnt believe there was one, How would you feel when you see him and he judges and sent you to the outer darkness? Just wanted to see what the athiest would say (my christian brothers and sisters are welcomed to answer). You'll probably still say it will never happen.

My nan died in November last year, and she always said that if there was life after death, she'd come back and show me she was with me. As yet i've experienced nothing, which is making me very septical of the whole thing.
My nan and I were very very close and I truly beileive that if there really was an afterlife she'd show herself. Her death hit me very hard as it was so unexpected. I've had dreams so could she be showing herself to me through them, or is it that it's just too soon?
Like I say i'm beginning to get more and more septical as time goes on, and i'd be interested to hear what anybody has to say about it or if anybody has ever experienced anything which could suggest that there is an afterlife

This is a true honest question. Please don't post propaganda, I just want honest answers.

In Genesis, it says that God said let there be light. And there WAS light. Just like that. (Gen 1:3)

Then God says, let the earth produce vegetation. And THE EARTH PROUDCED vegetation. (Gen 1:11)

Then both are tied together when God says, let the earth bring forth creatures. And God creates them. It seems to me that it is implied he used the earth to create these creatures. (Gen 1:20)

Unlike the light, it does not say "And plants appeared." It says "the land produced vegetation."

I'm a writer so I believe that all words are chosen carefully and mean what they mean. This is what I think is the literal meaning of Genesis. There is nothing to read into. I'm not twisting the words to get my meaning. I"m pointing out that there clearly is a difference btwn the way God creates light and the earth and how he creates life.

(We are ignoring Adam and Eve for the time being.)

Since most (not all Christians) know that Bible became bible only in 325 AD, how come when asking Question from Luke or marks many Christians trough explanation from John gospel.
Are they ignorant ot they think bible was written as one piece?
John wrote his revelation almost at the end of first century and Luke is 30 years after Jesus died. Do they really think that John knows what Luke meant 40 years before?
We know that different parts of the religions were using different Gospels as teaching before 325. So if the same question we ask now would be asked Luke at the time he wrote his Gospel the answer would be.. Hey wait for 40 years and John will answer to you?
The point is that if Question comes from gospel than Question should be answered from same gospel. Does any1 agree with me?

My followers realize that there is a difference between darkness and evil. We try to understand the darkness within us all and use it for the better good rather than bad. We know that a balance of dark and light is essential to finding inner peace and we focus on the dark side of that balance. Does anyone think they should want to be one of my dark followers?

Thought I had some lavendar essential oil to add to the incense I'm making later on for Lammas, but I can't find it ANYWHERE! It's too late for me to get some more, so is there anything I can use as a substitute, i.e. water? (Well, obviously not water!) Or does it matter if I just leave it out of the insence? (I'm burning it on a charcaol disk.)

ALSO, IF YOU'RE NOT PAGAN, WICCAN, OR FOLLOW ANYTHING OF THIS NATURE, OR PLAN ON CRITISIZING ME BECAUSE OF MY BELIEFS, THEN PLEASE DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE - SOME OF THE THINGS PEOPLE SAY ARE REALLY OFFENSIVE. (OR DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO BE FUNNY) THANK YOU ;-)

It seems to me that most of the support for Israels actions come from Christian conservatives. Why is this? From a religious standpoint. The Jews reject Christanity and were in part responsible for Jesus's death. I've heard the term zionism used?? What is this exactly?? I am an agnostic and have a hard time understanding this?
