seems verse has been altered since i invented the biblical frisbee in 1975.if i could float biblical frisbee back to moses,slaves might get a break !there is hope,seems even christians can evolve!

Not to worry. With new thinking on these matters, even a servant who's pronounced brain-dead would be kept on life-support. Thus the master would almost certainly avoid punishment.

And by the way, did somebody actually write that "there's only one bible .. the King James Version?" A book produced by an English king's committee with their own agenda is the "real" bible? Have we lost all sense of intellectual rigor?

The Bible, as in the original manuscripts from which the bible was translated had not changed. However these manuscripts have to be translated so there are different English translations of just about every verse of the bible, but you'll find these variations change the meaning very Little. However this is why it's important, when doing an in depth study of the bible, to use tools like Strong's numbers which provides the definition of the original Greek and Hebrew words.

Despite what many people think, The King James Version of the Bible is probably the least accurate of all Bibles. With modern science and archeology, we can interpret better what the bible actually says. More documents have been uncovered that helps us with modern translation of the Bible.

Verses and whole books have been revised and re-written since 325 "ad".
Anyone who tells you that the bible "is perfect and hasn't changed" is either a brainwashed moron, or an outright liar.

In any case, translations do tend to be worded differently, the question is how substantial is the wording

the Bible is inspired and infallible in the orignal, not in the translation. Translations can be pretty good but not infallible

The bible is constantly being re written to suit the times. its the only way they can keep people believing
