Is there life after death - an extraordnarily hard question to answer practically as the anwser begs to be biased. So instead of giving you an answer you can simply refute or accept due to personal bias I will try this. Is there life after death - yes. As death is part of life. To avoid a rather morbid example - imagine your nan as a flower. From the earth she came, bloomed and died. Her life in bloom was a magnificent event and it is indeed tragic to see that wilt away - but the fact remains that all flowers inevitably die. But this death is only superficial. When a flower dies it decomposes and becomes fertilizer for other flowers which then have their shot at life.
There is also another perspective to look at. In some ways your Nan is imortilised by the effect she has had on your life. She will forever be in your memory and as such changed some part of your life. Because of her you are in fact a diffrent person then you would have been without her influence. She then lives everyday in your actions as a changed person. Those actions you make on her behalf will effect others and then they will act acordingly - and all initially becuase of your Nan's influence. As humans we are all connected in the same way. How we live today is connected to those who came before us. We stand on the shoulders of our ansestors - as our children will, and theirs.
Now, this probably was not the spiritual answer you were looking for - but it has in fact given you some diffrent perspectives of which to look at your question. The question as you present it can not be answered without someone giving you their opinion - no matter how much they may believe it is fact. In the end you must choose what you yourself believe - becuase if you ask you will only find the wrong answers from the wrong people.

she will have sent you a sign, but alas you have missed it. Spirit has to obey rules in order to prevent perverting free will, so she cannot under any circumstances appear in your front room, with a home video of her life in the astral plane.
You would then be 100% certain of the afterlife and knowing that love and truth is the thing to assure you success, would do this unstintingly; yet it would not be you doing it because you want to be like that, it would be you doing it in the expectation of a reward.
That is why ambiguity in the subject is encouraged - will you be rewarded for your actions? Or are you wasting your time and chase material gains at the expense of everyone else around you? For a person without any scruples can go far in this world of matter, without a doubt.
Look for seemingly insignificant signs, ask your Nan for a specific item to appear, such as a feather and in the next few days it will appear and you will think; I wonder, could that ?????
As I said, read it as proof, read it as coincidence, that is your choice and free will is satisfied.
Love and light

No, there is no life after death, and I'm very sorry to say that your nan is gone.
If it's any comfort, you can do justice to her memory, doing your best to honor her by living a good, just, helpful life. I think that you're already well on the way to doing that with the respectful and thoughtful nature of this question. The fact that you're not making silly overly confident assertions here, but instead honestly wondering about these things suggests that your nan has helped you to become a decent and sincere person. My congratulations to the both of you.

I am sorry for your loss. To answer your question I truly believe there is an afterlife. I believe there is a heaven as well. Your nan may be there right now and you have to think to yourself if you were in heaven would you want to leave it to come back to earth? The bible says that God sends his angels to help his children. If your nan knows this then she has nothing to worry about for you. I do recommend you be weary of your dreams as I believe forces can influence them and tell you lies. Just listen to your heart and believe that your nan is in heaven with God and looking down on you. Jesus said blessed are those that believe without seeing. Have faith. Thank you and may God bless you.

Sorry to hear that you lost your nan. However you are being very sceptical about life after death. No I do NOT believe generally that there is. You will alsways hear about someone that say that they have experienced it but it is very rare.
You could try a clairvoyant but if you do check out their credentials.
Time is the only healer after you loose someone very close to you. The best advice I can give is remember the happy times and try and forget any sad ones.

Yes there is. Sometimes when people die in hospitals they are hooked up to machines that monitor brain waves. When you are awake or dreaming your brain produces these brain waves and the doctors know when your having a vivid dream or weather or not your awake or if your in a deep sleep with no brain activity.(no dreams) Well sometimes people die in hospitals while hooked up to these machines, no heart beat, no breathing, no brainwaves.
The doctors will then pronounce them dead, but sometimes, bang they come back to life.
Some people who come back don't remember anything about what happened to them while they were "dead" and sometimes they do. The ones that do often talk about the "other side" with detailed stories about what they saw, touched or experienced in general.
Well this is a shock to the doctors because if these people were dreaming these experiences it would show up on the brain wave machines. (their body's are dead so they must be somewhere else)
Its a good news bad news situation. Because the experiences people talk about are good and bad) some see heaven some see hell, and some see neither. Pray for your Nana, I'll pray for you.

Yes...I'm sure there is life after death, you may not be mentally able to connect with the spirits ( not your fault ) When we die, the energy ( some call it our soul ) is still here, heaven and hell are right here on earth, we are on a floating rock out in the middle of space threes nowhere to go. Your "Nan" is most likely with you...feel for cold spots where it should be warm in your house, you may not feel a fearful feeling for the fact that she loved you and does not want to scare you...I assure you she is with you more often then you think

Yes, there is a place our spirit goes after death! But you can't come back from it! Shakespeare knew that in 1600 (405 years ago if your math is poor) He had Hamlet say in his famous soiloquey...............
"that un-discovered bourne from which no traveller returns"
So wish your Nan a peaceful rest in Paradise and hope for a future day when you rejoin her! LOL

YES THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH/ I LOST MY MOTHER IN NOVEMBER ON THE 20, AND MY FATHER IN NOV OF 1998 ON THE 25'TH BUT I KNOW
SCRIPTURE TELLS US WE HAVE A HOME WAITING FOR US IN HEAVEN, WHERE THERE IS NO PAIN, WHERE A PERSON WHO WAS UNABLE TO WALK, TALK SEE HEAR, OR DO MANY OTHER THINGS HEAR ON THIS EARTH ARE ABLE TO DO SO IN HEAVEN. THE ANGLES HELP THE YOUNG CHILDREN WE MEET OLD FRIENDS, FAMILY, THE BEST JOY OF ALL WE GET TO MEET JESUS FACE TO FACE, AND THANK HIM FOR HIS LOVE AND FOR WHAT HE DONE FOR ALL MAN KIND.
SO IF ANY ONE TELL' YOU NO DONT YOU BELIEVE THEM AND YES THE DREAMS ARE THE LORDS WAY OF LETTING YOU KNOW YOUR NAN IS IN GOOD HANDS AND IS SAFE.

Yes, every particle which made up your "Nan" will be re-used to make something else, we are all made up, quite literally, of stardust which has been recycled for billions of years. Each of us likely has billions of particles which at one time were integrated into a dinosaur, or a tree et al.
