The book of Hebrews says a father disciplines his kids and if God isnt paddling you good for your sins for your good to change you, you might not be his kid at all I think the ansser to your question is generally yes and in a sense no, but in the case of no the person was never a christian in the sense of the Book of Hebrews
The reason for the in a sense No is: you cannot continue in habitual sin and go your way enjoying slopping with the pigs and never never change. In this case perhaps a person who has no appetite for God or concern to stop sinning... may be spiritually dead and was never a real Christian
He loves you enough takes you as you are butloves you too much to leave you as your are... you become a work in progress you !! and construction sites as you notice can be messy places while the work is going on
1 John 2
if anyone sins we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous
so we got a helper PULLING for us with his prayers and sympathies to the Father in heaven and Jesus prayers calm storms, heal the sick, make blind eyes see, make the lame to walk and raise the dead !!!!!
Jesus prayers made prositutes into saints, haters of god into lovers of God, bad men good and enemies of God into God;s children In fact since God's wrath against the redeemed is satisfied in the cross, only good intentions on the part of God exist toward them so it becomes true that all things worl out for good to those who love God, even when God paddles you good for your sin, it is for you good and to conform to the image of His Son and eventually to enjoy Him forever
We also forget the work of the Father, invisible but meticulous. Jesus said the Father prunes or cuts EVERY branch, if you are truly his expect to look back on your life and see that the father was always snip snip snipping at the branches of you life makin you the dude or dudette to his likeing in the loooonnng run to bear more fruit of righteousness.

The Bible says, "For all HAVE sinned and falled short of the glory of God". It does not say all ARE sinning. Everyone has sinned and needs a Savior. But he that commits sin is of the devil and Christians are not of the devil. It depends whether you are a Calvanist or an Armenian as to what you believe about this.

Everybody sins. It is just a part of being a human. The key is what you do after you sin and how you move forward to avoid committing the same sin again. A Christian isn't just a Christian until he or she sins... Once Baptized, he or she is Baptized forever.

Once you have confessed to God your a sinner & have made Jesus Lord of your life & believe in your heart the Lamb of God & resurrection, You become a child of God. Jesus can never tell you He never knew you.
Renew your mind in the Word of God. Be holy because you are the temple of God & God is Holy.
The Holy Spirit will convict you when you mess up though. You will sin again. But you need to confess your sin to God. He is just to forgive you your sin & cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Read 1 John. (When you mess up, fess up.)
It is impossible for a child of God to habitually sin (make it a comfortable habit) because the Holy Spirit is with child of God. If child continues in the sin knowingly disobedient, child may go to heaven early though with out all the rewards God wanted to give child.
Build on your house trusting God & obedient to God's Word and when tried by the fire it will last with rewards. Read web site: TheFathersLoveLetter.com.
Mak j says that the devil is a child of God. He isn't. God created him, but the devil destroys God's creation. He rebelled against God. He is the god of the children that rebell against the Creator God. Hell was made for the devil & his children. The devil is a murder, slanderer, liar, thief from the beginning.

Yes, all people sin, even Christians. Just because we are Christians it doesn't mean we are perfect. Being a Christian means that we have acknowledged Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Lord of all, and that He dies for us on the cross, and by doing so He saved us from our sins. So, we still sin, only when we do, Jesus Christ forgives us and by the blood He spilled for us, He washes our stains away (aka our sins) to make us as clean as snow (aka forgiven). As long as we see that we have sinned, ask for forgiveness from God and those we have sinned against, and forgive ourselves, we will be forgiven. God bless.

Its obvious everybody sins. But if you are in a situation where you know it is possible to sin, that is where your conscience should come into play, if you know its a sin and you still do it, then God will take that into consideration on Judgement day. That is why a steady study of the Bible can help us all.

yes. everyone commits sins, but that doesn't mean to go and do it just because you know that you will still be a child of God. That doesn't make it right, but God knows that everyone makes mistakes

Dear Child of God:
I am a mother of 3 and so I know I am an authority to answer this question.
My dear child, just like a mother never hates her children no matter what the child does .. but just hates the act the child has done and wants the child to come back to the right path, God never hates his children. You and me and all of us are children of God and he loves us NO MATTER WHAT.
For myself, I was good and then bad due to certain circurmstances .. but deep in my heart I know God loves me no matter how deep in sin I am. I will pray for you and you pray for me.. and together we will find again God the very essence of TRUE LOVE. In God alone lies true happiness.
