If you love me you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always the Spirit of truth which the world CANNOT accept because it neither sees nor knows it. But you know it, because it remains with you and will be in you. -John 14 :15-17

I am very blessed to be helping in giving a very special lady a Bridal shower along with the rest of the family. There will be 54 people in attendence and we all have diverse persoanlities.

I will be giving a short Bible devotion and will be doing some of the speaking and helping with games so the ladies can win prizes.

My desire is for everyone to have a good time and enjoy themselves and to be relaxed and at ease some of the persoanlities in the family have clashed. How can I be diplomatic and Christ like and focus the attention of God and the bride and that god would use me to bless this person .

Can you please pray that everything goes according to gods plan and will and that people there would feel ministerd, encouraged, indluded and loved as well as the 3 children that will be there as well.

Please pray for another family member giving the shower she is very nervous and anxoius and i would like her to enjoy herself and have a great time.

If the answer is nooooo, then why would we have memories now, and why would we feel such a loss? Why make something in what is considered such a "short time"...and then take it away? I refuse to believe that we will not be able to see our families in heaven, and just linger on in the spirit not knowing anything. It would not make any sense to me.. Yeah, yeah, I know...If our maker has a perfect plan... but I want scripture backing both theories up. Or whatever religion you might be, I would like to learn of your opinion on this subject, and how you came to this conclusion about the afterlife.

Do you believe that endless punishment would manifest the glory of God? Do you hope that endless misery is true?
Is "faith the substance (or foundation) of things hoped for?" -- (Heb. 11:1)
If endless misery be not a thing hoped for, can it be a part of the Christian faith?Would endless misery benefit the Almighty, as the INFLICTOR?
Would endless misery benefit the saints, as SPECTATORS?
Would endless misery benefit the sinner, as the SUFFERER?
If endless punishment be the "wages of sin," could the sinner ever receive payment in full? (Rom. 6:23)
If man cannot commit an infinite sin, can he deserve endless punishment?
If sin be infinite, can it be true that, "where sin abounded grace did MUCH MORE abound ?" --(Rom. 5:20)

Satan is a pig and all he cares about is himself and He is also a swine who would tear anyone to pieces. See Matthew 7:6

My family and I have been attacked b/c we are going on a mission tour and certain "occurances" happened today just when we needed them the least.

Years ago I would cry and curse and blame God and say life is not fair.

But I as well as my family want to go forward in our walk and mature.

What are some of the ways you stand against the enemy? How has God delivered you? If you are going through a tough time now, what has helped you cope?

THe "pig" never takes a day off or a vacation he does his "work 24/7/365.

I know God has a purpose but we all want to go forwards not backwards.

I hae faith that God is going to do gra things through the adversities,

I ask that you pray before posting and thank you and God bless you. Encourager4God

How will creationists claim that evolution isn't real, when there is observed evidence of it?

The bible says...

"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. " -- Matthew 16:28

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. " -- Luke 21:32-33

"But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." -- 1 Peter 4:7

These words, written 1,900+ yrs ago, were meant to warn the first Christians for the immediate end of the world. Some words are supposedly out of the mouth of Jesus. The world did not end. All that generation passed away without any of the things foretold coming to pass. No amount of prayer brought it about; nor ever so much patience and belief and sober living. The world went on, as usual, indifferent to the spoutings of another batch of doomsday prophets with visions of messiahs dancing in their deluded brains. Go figure.

When we are willing for the Holy Spirit to use us in ministry, is it our obligation to be prepared and willing to be used at all times? Or, once saved can He use us anytime He chooses?

When I get mad: I take my anger out on other people, cuss, fuss, through fits and tempertantrums. I really get mad and angry! I cuss people out and talk badly about people. I think bad thoughts about people who make me mad. I often go off the deep end and get paranoid. I might end up in a straight jacket. But I do believe in god, want to change my life around and go to heaven when I die. I feel like I am a really bad person and desserve everything bad coming to me. Do I desserve this? Do I desserve to burn for eternity? Is there something wrong with me?! I think that I am crazy and need to be hospitalized.

I am not a caring individual but I wouldn't send anyone to burn for eternity in Hell. If I thought it would do them good to be punished I would punish them to whatever extent was needed and then give them another chance. An endless punishment is certainly not beneficial to anyone. Endless torment is more evil than good.
