I love all people. Jesus loves everyone. He didn't and doesn't approve of their sins, but He loves them. John 3:16 says FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD... (I think that is everyone)... THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I don't agree with their lifestyle - in my understanding of God's word it is sin, but I don't hate them. I don't answer for their lifestyle either.

Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Luke 5:32
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

NOTE: If anyone has the NIV, they will notice the writers omit "to repentence" from the Scripture.

Jesus came to bring and teach repentence to those sinning. We ALL fit in the category. Only when people know what sin is and the damage it causes to mankind, only through the Holy Spirit's help can repentence, confession, and forgiveness be accomplished to bring all right before God.
With the story of the rich man, Jesus gave the rich man the opportunity to do what was needed (he exposed his weakness in his materialism), yet the man walked away sorrowfully, because he did not want to lose his possessions. The Bible makes no mention of this man again.
Free will is the ultimate choice. Do you choose to give it up for the Lord and let him guide your life...or do you choose your own path?
Sometimes we make the mistake of trying to inherit the kingdom before we "cleanse" ourselves. Some claim self-righteousness and works, hopefully this will please Him instead of changing the lifestyle. This is deadly.
"Be holy as I AM Holy." this goal allows us the relationship with God to grow. How can two walk together unless they agree? Is the church walking at God's pace or asking God to slow down?
Bottom line:
It is God's way that would we should seek, NOT to change it to better suit us. The Bible is our manual and we need to prove to the world that God is REAL. Until we can show them, we sometimes fight the water to flow upstream. Not impossible, but harder to accomplish.

i agree with that. I dont know why people have such a problem with gays. I mean God made gay people that way. Thats how he INTENDED for them to be we are all his creations and He doesn't mess up so gays are perfectly normal. Just cuz they're different in the love department doesnt mean theyre aliens. i mean so what? thats how God made them and no one should critisize them...being gay is not a sin, because it is not a choice or desicion. Therye born with it. They should be respected like we heterosexuals are.

Hate the Sin but Love the Sinner. It's not my place to judge all the people on the earth. That's God's job. Spend your short time here spreading love and understanding. When you meet a sinner you should tell him about God's love, not cut him down for his lifestyle.

We love gays when we oppose God.

Rom.1:24 Therefore God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them, 25 even those who exchanged the truth of God for the lie and venerated and rendered sacred service to the creation rather than the One who created, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; 27 and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.

1Cor6:9 What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were.

1Cor6:” 17 “‘Therefore get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’

9 In my letter I wrote YOU to quit mixing in company with fornicators, 10 not [meaning] entirely with the fornicators of this world or the greedy persons and extortioners or idolaters. Otherwise, YOU would actually have to get out of the world. 1Cor5:11 But now I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. 12 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do YOU not judge those inside, 13 while God judges those outside? “Remove the wicked [man] from among yourselves.”

Rev 22:. 14 Happy are those who wash their robes, that the authority [to go] to the trees of life may be theirs and that they may gain entrance into the city by its gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone liking and carrying on a lie.’

Of course we should love everyone enough to pray for them, ask God to have mercy on ALL sinners, Gay people are not the only sinners out there. Everyone is, and no one is exept from Gods mercy, forgivness. OF ALL PEOPLE, IT IS THE SINNERS WHO DESERVE THE MERCY OF JESUS THE MOST. Sin is sin. God hates all sin, its all the same. The order of the 10 commandments is not the order of the severety of the sin, they are equally offensive to GOD. nuff said?? Catholic BTW...

Of course - we are all God's creation. Each of us are sinners in need of a Savior, and sin causes separation from God which causes need of redemption through Christ's sacrifice.
Love the sinner, hate the sin. (What Jesus did!, Thankfully!)

While I agree in principle with you, and please don't misunderstand, I'm a quiet little atheist man,

I read in the BIble, which i purchased on monday,

that God wanted to destroy Sodom.

while i support gay rights, i dont really like being around them much,

Abraham argued God down to ten righteous men neccessary to spare Sodom, sure part of that was Lot,

but still,

i think it cheesey to say love everyone,

for me, an atheist, theres a difference between acceptance and tolerance

i tolerate gays
i want them to not get fired and not get violence upon them
live and let live
i dont accept it

my wife has a gay brother
i dont like being around him
i dont like watching him on a computer try and make dates with men
it sickens me
i find it detestable

im sorry, i might be the only one who while i support gay rights, doesnt love gay people

it its a basic philosophy, but i choose to love other human beings for their own minds, ideas and heart. whether they bat for the home team is their own business. I dont see gay or straight, just people. And as a child of God as you proclaim, you should not judge them either.
