God is not the author of confusion, but Satan is. It is very hard to be a christian. God is testing you to see if you are worthy of His kingdom, and I know that sounds harsh, but if it was easy, everyone would say "OK, I believe in God, I can get into heaven, so let me go steal, lie, murder, worship false gods, whatever I want to do, because when I'm done I'm gonna suck up & get in! Just keep reading your Bible, try to find someone to study it with and have discussions about it, go to a church where you feel like they are actually teaching you something, not one where people go to socialize. (And make it a church that teaches from the King James Bible, not some new age Bible.) It's very hard, sometimes you need to change your habits, or even the people you hang out with. Good luck, keep trying; this is very important!

Because God is doing something really remarkable with you when you're on the walk. It takes a lot of energy and effort.

But if you're finding it too frustrating and too complex, I suspect you may be focusing on the wrong things. It's easy to get tied up in doctrine and complex behavior questions. Continue to consider the right path of behavior, but put your primary focus on loving the people around you.

Best wishes and God bless.

Because Christians tend to TRY to be the holy spirit and do ALL the work. Instead we do what we can do and also try to do things that we're not capable of doing, but only God can work out.

When we try to do what we can't do our walk gets really frustrating and complexed. We're not allowing God to help us.

We Christians sometimes tend to think we trust God but then try to change our own lives b/c we're impatient for God's plan for our lives.

Some of us may try to make our own plans for our lives without letting God be in control and not waiting on God to do the supernatural.

Really, there are but two choices. (Matthew 7:13,14)
Christ compared it to the choice of either one of two roads. One road, he said, is “broad and spacious.” On it travelers are permitted freedom to please themselves. The other road, however, is “cramped.” Yes, those on that road are required to obey the instructions and laws of God. The majority, Jesus noted, are taking the broad road, only a few the narrow one. Which road will you choose? In making your choice, keep this in mind: The broad road will suddenly come to a dead end—destruction! On the other hand, the narrow road will lead you right through into God’s new system.

bc no one said it was going to be a piece of cake! nothing is ever as easy as it seems. but at least we've got God to walk us through. without God i think life would be so much harder. sometimes he tells us to do stuff that makes no sense but in the end it all leads up to something great. just hang in there!
