i know we all get tempted, because Jesus did too, but he didnt act on it, and he ignored it. Is this possible for us to do the same? since he was human, we are human.

Can we get past temptation, and ignore it like that?

I just need hope<3

Nobody, and I mean nobody, follows even basic things of christianity anymore, such as staying pure from sex before marriage, adultery, pornography, etc. If it's not one thing, it's another. It's not wonder christian divorce rates mirror secular divorce rates. Everybody pretends to be pious but is a hypocrite. I want to live my life pure, but nobody else seems to, and if they do, they're not anywhere around here. Why should I believe anymore? Give it your best shot. This isn't just ranting, I seriously want to hear your answers.

DEUT 22; 28,29
28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

from the bible the way i understand it, it says if a man is caught raping a virgin he must pay her father and then marry her. this seems to me like it would be much more of a punishment for the girl who was raped.

Ancient texts that are still kept secret reveal that sneezes were the way ancient priests of the true faith would sneeze as a blessing to Giggles the Fairy and so Giggles marked all mankind with sneezes and thus we all pray to him even though we don't even know it.

These hidden texts will be revealed to the public soon
Now, here is the best part, religions tried to hide that by saying when we sneeze our souls are trying to escape and that is were saying "God bless you" came from. They conspired to hide the truth of Giggles.Which is why now, even laughter is a way to talk to Giggles.Giggles loves us unconditionally.Isn't that wonderful?Did you know that?

Find Giggles and be with him and find joy!

Say in your perfect world - You prove there is no God and everybody believes you---Ok what then???
Do you want us all to go out and have sex with animals and pee on each other - or kill whoever we want when we have a bad day???

Are you jealous of people who have faith in God??

Do you crave the power it would give you if you prove there is no God??

Have people who claimed they believed in God done bad things to you??

Just trying to find your motivation in trying to disprove a force from which all living things come from.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and arguably that means you can choose whether or not to be religious. One of my friends attended a military function where a prayer was said before dinner and some type of sermon followed. She felt uncomfortable and irritated because she's not religious. I would argue that it's not different than forcing a non-smoker to sit in a smokers room: you're being forced to do or accept something that you didn't choose.

"And it was so; as it is written and all the lands were seperated and all the men and the women of the lands would be of all kinds and they shall worship many false Gods and then they shall worship one and shall call this God Yahweh to the Hebrews and they shall call him Buddah to the lands of the far East and they shall call him Allah to the Arabs and to all the other lands shall there be one God or many Gods."- BB 2:5

All but faith in Giggles are false faiths, for only Giggles loves you unconditionally!

I'm just wondering.

My father built houses for a living and I can build a house from the ground up. But even the better, more skilled craftsmen make an occasional mistake.

Was Jesus a perfect carpenter? Or did He occasionally cut a stud too short or split molding? Or did He ever smash His own thumb while holding a nail He was hammering in? And if so did He feel the pain? Did He cuss?

Just something silly to think about this evening.

Someone dies: "Its God's will...he needs another angle...God works in mysterious ways"

Doesn't the bible state that death is the enemy? So why would a God of love and righteousness use his enemy against us (1 Corinthains 15:26)

Natural Disasters, Epidemics, Poverty and so on are somehow morbidly blamed on God's divine will when God didn't even want this for us so why would he cause more suffering?? Somewhere in the bible I recall it being said that "Far be it fro the true God to act wickedly" so why blame god for the problems when scriptures like...
2 Corinthians 4:4
1 John 5:19
Revelations 12:9
...state that the rule or the world is Satan the devil and he is the root of our current condition. I don't understand and it makes me very sad to here people smearing Gods name. Why???

I'm asking this again because a lot of people are misinformed about the laws of abortion here in the U.S.A.

A bill that would have made late term abortions illegal was shot down by the Supreme Court by a tie breaking vote by Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

Late-term abortions are legal in many states as late as 40 weeks and up to the moment of birth. The law states that as long as the head is still in the womb the abortion can take place no questions asked. The abortionist takes scissors and jabs them into the skull of the fetus while holding the body outside of the mother and the head inside. Then the abortionist spreads apart the scissors. Then he takes a vacuum device and sucks out the brains and crushes the skull. Then the remains of the baby are removed.

By the way, a newborn baby is just as dependent for survival as an unborn. If a newborn baby is left on its own he or she will die.

It reinforces atheistic assumptions and makes religion appear useless," said Nancey Murphy, a professor of Christian philosophy at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. "If you can explain religious experience purely as a brain phenomenon, you don't need the assumption of the existence of God."

This quote comes from a field of research on the forefront of neurological studies.

It has found that stimulation of certain parts of the brain (known as the god spot) as well as certain froms of epilepsy will give the subject a religious experience.

If you do a search on the subject you will find more information on the issue.

What does this mean for your faith?
Could anything ever offer evidence to you that there could infact be no God?
What does it mean to the atheist?
