i know we all get tempted, because Jesus did too, but he didnt act on it, and he ignored it. Is this possible for us to do the same? since he was human, we are human.

Can we get past temptation, and ignore it like that?

I just need hope<3

Oh yes. One can overcome temptation. Just put your trust and faith in God and pray that He lifts this temptation from your life. If need be remove yourself also from the situation

unfortunately not everyone agrees on the same things being tempting and 'evil' or 'wrong,' and to a great degree it depends on the institution who told you it's wrong. for example, in some cultures eating cow is daily life while in others it is a sacred animal that they would never consider eating.

if you feel that what is tempting you might actually not be wrong or that doing it may make your life better in some way, you should reconsider categorizing it as wrong. somethings are wrong until you are an adult while other things (like murder) are always wrong, but there is a lot of gray area with most everything else.

and sometimes you have to do things to discover and learn that they were mistakes. it really depends on what the consequences are.

trust your instincts.

Unless your tempted to kill or rape someone, you should pursue your temptations and experience some life. Temptation is only curiosity to experience and in experience, mistakes will be made. After a mis-take, you just cut, and start the scene again. You can't live without failing. But we sure can live without unearned guilt.

Absolutely, we can get past temptation... but it can be extremely difficult. Just like Jesus, you have to pray and know the word of God. Good Luck!

Yes. One of the things the Holy Spirit does is to give you the power to overcome temptation.

Although it is very hard sometimes to ignore temptation, God gave us a free will, and yes, we can use that free will to resist temptation. The bible says, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." There is always hope.

According to the Law of the Jew and Jehovah, Jesus did sin by being blasphemous, but thats to the laws of the Jews. There is no real sin, only to Jehovah. Find the Truth at:

YES, it take's time to work out your own Salvation, in different area's of your Life. If you'll read your BIBLE everyday, diligently, and alot, you will find yourself getting stronger against those Temptation's and one day, that chain will fall-off, and you will walk on by it.
HOPE this helps. Ditto.....(been there, and still doing it---reading the BIBLE, need to everyday).

Well, I must admit that it is very hard to ignore at some times. But with God's help, we are indeed able to get past it. We must believe in God, acknowledge our weakness, strip ourselves of pride, and pray to God for strenghth.
