Dear Friend,
Please be clear that :
God is not father and no one is the father of God. God is the Creator of every thing and no one is the creator of God. He is Almighty and is Always, time , begining and end is meaningless to mention. He is the Creator of time , life , death, life hereafter and almost every thing.
All praise and worship is for God only. No one except God is controling entire System of creation, running, sustaining and ending and almost all and every thing. God is Allah Jallashanahoo.

To fully answer this question would take far to long. For every religion there would be a slightly different concept and idea of god's origin.

But, just to humor everyone, I will give my interpretation...

God ideologically is an intity, and not really a physical being. or is he? Of course The holy trinity would disagree with this, since christ would be considered the physical form of god. But alas, this is where my beliefs differ a little, because I like to see christ and all of the holy prophets as physical extensions of god. I say this because I believe the entire universe is an extension of god that started at one singular point as science seems to indicate. But my belief is that god was this singular point and from him came everything we now see. And because he was this singularity from which everything started from, there exists nothing before him.

IF you follow the Torah or the Bible, this follows Genisis, as he states he created the heavens and earth, and light (ie the sun). How else better to create the universe we see, than actually being it?

It makes since, give it a thought...

The definition of God is given in all the scriptures. God is unborn.
To understand God is not cheap. One must approach a God realized person and sumissively ask the questions.
Not the pseudo who says I am god. We should ask him has he got a father if he says yes that I was born then he is a dog not god, because he is pretending.

It's hard for the finite, earthly mind to grasp something as incredible as not having a beginning...but, that doesn't change Reality. It is so whether we believe it or not. God does not have a beginning...nor does He have a father. He is the Source of all Life.

God has no father. He is our Heavenly Father, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end. Nothing is possible without God. Bless you!

From Islamic teaching, God is one (single), He has no son and has no father. To a Muslim, whoever or whatever entity that has a father or son is not the true God. Please read chapter Al Ikhlas in the English translation of the Quran (Chapter no. 112, if I'm not mistaken).

God is the Father. There is no "father" of God. No one is above Him. He is the Father. Period.
