if so why do gay people scare you? now im not gay myself so im just asking.

do you honestly hate them simply because your god does or do you do it simply because they make you question (wether consciously or subconsciously) your own sexual preference.

do you see them (mainly the men) as weak because they act a bit feminine? is that why you attack them and dislike them?

explain yourselves!

I've noticed that a lot of people on here seem to be Jesus' spokesperson. I was wondering if he would give a Testimonial for the upcoming real-time strategy game Left Behind: Eternal Forces, as well as the series of novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins that it is based on. I'm very interested to see what he thinks about them as well as his apparent endorsement of them.
Thank you for your time.

P.S. I've tried to reach him by e-mail, but god@heaven.org and savior@paradise.info do not seem to work.

"As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church. Did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached?" (1 Cor. 14:33b-36 NIV)

so we see here that women arento allowed to speak or ask questions while attending church.....why does thebible hate women?

i for one LOVE women...a little too much id say.

Serious answers only please.

Christians, do you believe the Bible is meant to be read completely literally, or does it contain figurative language that is open for interpretation?

It seems when people use the text of the Bible to explain why something is sinful, they take it very literally. However, when confronted with unpleasant scriptures (The discussion of slavery in Leviticus, for example) they use the text very broadly and figuratively.

So which is it? Literal or figurative?

Unfortunately we are living in a society where child sexual and physical abuse are on a constant rise. These people grow up with issues ranging from insecurity and mistrust, to becoming perpretrators of abuse themselves. What is the message that God has for these people, both the victim and the 'victimizer'?
