1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion....

So that means he doesn't confuse people right? Then why does the Bible say this?

Genesis 11:7-9
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech..... Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth:

1 Corinthians 1:27
God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.

Why am I even reading this book?

Let's assume that the flood killed sinners and dinosaurs as well, that would explain the fossils, which, regardless of if you believe in evolution, fossils ARE there right?

the common thought that i got from some, pretty narrowminded christians is that the fossils (which are fact) are there because God deemed them too dangerous for us, right?

with me so far?

so ok, the flood came and killed everything; sinners and dinosaurs alike. Everything except Noah and two of every animal except for the dinosaurs and well, maybe the unicorn (it came from SOMEwhere).

My question is:

If the reason we have dinosaur bones in the ground is because of this terrible flood, then....where are the sinners bones?

Why aren't they mixed in with the dinosaurs....or ANYwhere for that matter?

In the Zaidiyyah sect, we enjoy our religion unlike the Sunni and Shia who take themselves and their false Islam too seriously.

The Buddha is a beautiful reminder that peace is good. That the deen of the Zaidiyyah is special and our 99 gods mean more to us than the false picture of deity presented by the pretenders, the Sunni and the worshippers of Ali, the Shia.

So rejoice and enjoy the New Islam !

There are people who are now dead who aspired and believed, just as some of you do, to disprove creationsm and do away with all likes of discussion of it, and so far it hasn't worked. They didn't even leave anyone with an idea of "just wait and you'll see." When your life is over and the world has come to an end, how relevant will it be to know, or have known, how we got on this rock? What does the belief that we came from a puddle of water, or monkeys or a gigantic stick of dynamite lead to? What does our hopes and dreams and personal aspirations end with? Please answer informatively, I really want to understand this.

P.S. Please don't give dull answers like: there is no purpose, or just because, or something lame like that.

consider this...was there a point when light, matter, time, energy didn't exist in an empty universe(s)? If not, then what caused there to be "something" out of " absolutely nothing" when there wasn't ANYTHING to work with? My thought. PeaCe.

Many would suppose that in order to have faith one must be blind to the concept of evidence and what that evidence means to those who do not believe. Why is it so difficult to accept the concept that, if there is proof, many other people may begin understanding, or even believing?

Why must anyone who asks a person of a religious faith for proof , the asker gets "shut down" by ultimatums (i.e., "either you belive or you don't")? More over, a response that vaguely says 'you have to believe because the Bible says so'...?

Why are the same people unwilling to truly and openly debate the origins of the Bible, the alleged stories or accounts that occured, the existence or non-existence of a supreme being on a level that removes faith, bible verses, or hateful remarks from their responses?

Why is it now "okay" for some breeds of Christianity to accept the "Big Bang" theory, or even some form of evolution -so long as their God initiated those events?

Why be so blind to a world of thought?

Someone just said it's okay for God to kill babies, because they're innocent and go to heaven..."lucky babies." (why doesn't this apply to abortion?)

So I think a Christian would protect his/her everlasting soul before protecting an earthly life...or lives. There are so many permutations that I think would prove most Christians inconsistant. Would a C kill one innocent person to save two? Would a C kill him/herself to save any # of people? Would a C kill him/herself to save thier own child? Would a C blaspheme God to save # of people, own life, child's life? Just trying to feel you guys out...

"Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers." Koran 3:32

I believe in God, but I do not think Muhamad was his prophet. The Koran says that Allah shows clear proofs to unbelievers, but it also says he blinds unbelievers so that they will not be able to tell that Islam is the true religion. If Allah doesn't love me, why would he create me. Is my purpose in the universe simply to live a brief life and spend eternity. I have read the Koran, and it sounds like the ravings of a lunatic. According to the Koran, the reason I don't understand the Koran is because Allah is concealing the truth from me. (Sura 40, vs 74 is just one example) So if I can't get to paradise without accepting Islam, and Allah won't let me accept Islam, I've basicly been screwed from birth. This is by far my biggest beef with Islam. How can Allah be a god of love?
BTW: the phrase "Allah does not love" is more common in the Koran then "Allah loves".
