In the Zaidiyyah sect, we enjoy our religion unlike the Sunni and Shia who take themselves and their false Islam too seriously.
The Buddha is a beautiful reminder that peace is good. That the deen of the Zaidiyyah is special and our 99 gods mean more to us than the false picture of deity presented by the pretenders, the Sunni and the worshippers of Ali, the Shia.
So rejoice and enjoy the New Islam !

The image Buddha represent wisdom and compassion..
self-awareness and self-understanding gain from meditation/samadhi..
The Enlightened One..
those who see the image isn't to worship but to have faith that every human can progress, practice renunciation and loving-kindness, overcome ignorance,greed,fear,hatred and become Buddha eventually...
well i never seen Zaidiyyah Islam's image .. could you give links ?

You are talking about beauty and peace but you have not learned to respect Islam.The religion is betwwen Allah and the individual.Mohammed (s.av.)and Ali (r.a) are the counsuls of God who were to teach the right and honest way in life to us to lead to eternity or else the never ending life on the oher side...If you only read Quran a bit more carefully you will learn how it shows the every aspect of life and all those sections you are mentioning...May Allah be with you!

Woah, bro. Calm down with the fake islam. Your islam is just as "fake" as theirs, or as fake as the Bahai faith which branches from shi'ite islam. Don't judge someone else's because you like yours better. By the way, how can you call the original Islam (sunni) the fake one? I mean, I can understand that the sunnis want to call you and the shi'ites fake, but how can the younger one call the OLDEST one fake?

Wouldn't Buddha be a Buddhist image, not Islamic? I thought Islam frowned on graven images anyway.

They are twisting Islam for their own means, just like some Christians twist the Bible.
I agree we all NEED a new Religion one that offers more tolerance than the ones we have now!
