Why did Martin Luther add the word "alone" to Romans 3:28? It said we are justified by faith, but Luther added the word "alone" after faith. You can't add words to the Word of God. He said in his writings that he did it out of his own authority and no one should question him.

Martin Luther called the Epistle of James in the N.T. an "Epistle of straw". No Christian can say that about a book in the Bible. The father of the Reformation was clearly committing a serious evil sin in the face of God, not to mention the 7 books he threw out, on his OWN authority.

My gift God gave me is encouragment to others, but I am human and there are people in my family, church, work internal and external that really try my patience, (and I would be willing to bet and admit I have tried thiers as well).

What can I do to be compassionate and not become concieted for all that God has done for me.

The people I deal with are special people with many needs, people who are dominant and at times arrogant, people who willflully, gossip and find fault with people, spreading seeds of discouragement and neagtivity, people who are demanding, these are the people God has been bringing into my life.

I need the wisdom, maturity and the patience to love thse people even though I may not like them.

What are ways you get past the difficulites of people?

Imagine
John Lennon

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

This is a great song. :) One of my favorites. :) If you know the Music, Imagine it in your mind as you read the lyrics! :-)

By the way, I posted this here so we could all take a breather from debating about religion. And so we could think of the World and Humanity and Peace. :-)

When it rain it pours.

Please pray for all of us at church, many of us are suffering and have health problems, financial problems, as well as transporation problems. We are clinging to the hope the good Lord gives us, pray for healing and deliverance so we can help and minister to others with the comfort we receive from God.

I have having a procedure/minor surgery done on June 8th. Just that God will see me through. I have also taken a sabbatical a rest from my ministries for the time being. I am still serving the Lord by praying for others and being the best witness I can, but I am burned out and exhausted and laying everything down before God so I can keep Him first and seek Him first.

Thank you and God bless you. Encourager4God

I asked how we have different races if Adam and Eve is true...and the Christian community mentioned these were adaptive mutations...not evolution

I asked if enough adaptive mutations constitute evolution, and everyone answered "yes"

So, if Christians agree that human mutations happen, and enough of them constitue evolution...then why is evolution so hard to believe?

Add to this the fact that micro-evolution happens constantly, and the fossil record morphing from ape to human...

When did it go from being good to an abomination?

What happened that changed Gods mind?

It's not witnessing that I mind, I witness right along with them. It's the proselytizing that's getting a little old.

And the friendship predates the proselytizing - she's a recent convert.
