With the influx of catholics from the south, it appears the US is in for a period of dark ages before she regains her former stature as an enlightened, "free nation."
Five of the nine US Supreme Court Justices, including the Chief Justice, are Catholic. America's immediate future looks very dim indeed.

Actully the USA is not an Athiest country, it is not the world leader in science or medicine or human rights for that matter.
Science: Japan
Medicine: UK
Human rights: UN (a collabration of 191 states or countries)

Not going to happen- 80% of the country identifies as Christian. However, I do think that our laws should be made as if we were an atheist nation, as in we don't bring religion into account at all while laws are being written.

The USA is not an atheist nation, far from it - It's a highly religious nation (which is perhaps why they have much higher rates of teenage pregnancy, abortion, crime etc. than other more secular countries).

the USA will never be an Atheist religion in the way that the Soviet Union was by baning religion.
What will happen is secular humanism will become dominate.

the U.S. will never be atheist. The U.S. was founded on religion and will continue. Just look at the supreme court trying to break down Roe vs. Wade

I dont really that happening. Why would it? Many people in this country are of some religious faith or another and as long as some have faith, then it is not an athiest nation.
