(For true muslams only) If a muslam man commits a jihad & gets 12 virgins when he dies, what do the women get? And if it's true that it's in the Koran, wouldn't that be a pleasure flesh? And not of the spirit? I'm need someone who is a faitful muslam to answer me this question.

"The Qur'an, while referring to the rewards of the pious in the Hereafter, has categorically stated that:

1. All persons - men as well as women - shall be fully rewarded for their deeds and shall not be wronged in the least (Aal Imraan 3: 195, Al-Nisaa 4: 124, Al-Nahl 16: 97, Ghaafir 40: 40);
2. They shall get all that they may desire and all that they can ask for, as a first gift from God. His blessings would follow subsequently (Fussilat 41: 31); and
3. They - (men as well as women) - shall have perfected mates/counterparts/spouses ( Arabic: Azwajun Mutahharatun) as a reward of their deeds (Al-Baqarah 2: 25, Aal Imraan 3: 15, Al-Nisaa 4: 57).

As should be obvious from the above points, there is absolutely no difference in the reward of men and women, as it is mentioned in the Qur'an. Furthermore, it may be noted that the Qur'an has not mentioned anything about '70 huries'. The Qur'an has only mentioned 'perfected spouses/counterparts'. The numerical value of 70 is derived from a Quranic commentary by Ibn kathir."

I have not come across that in The Quran, but can I just say if you read something in the Quran the verses have deeper meanings. For eg, description of Jannat(Heaven)- Gardens with rivers flowing etc, we can imagine this in our minds but obviosly Jannat is a place way beyond our level of thinking and imagination. Several times it mentions equality of men and women in the Quran, i am sure rewards of equality will be given....and fchaldo-jihad is not about commiting terrorist attacks, jihad can be something such as giving charity. Terrorist attacks are not supported by true Islam.

The (#) of virgins reward for Jihad is not mentioned in the Quran. It's mention in a hadith (saying of the Prophet) which is classified as Alien. Non-Muslims who are anti Islam are obsessed with this hadith. As it seems the only way they could comprehend why a Muslim would die for the cause of Allah (swt) would be if he were promised a great amount of sexual pleasure. Being oversexed people themselves it sounds logical.

Note: purposely killing oneself is not Jihad, it's suicide which is a grave sin in Islam.

okay first off lets define jihad.

Jihad originally is the struggle for the truth, the good, the moral dignity. If all my friends smoke weed and do drugs it is a jihad for me to not do the same. If the whole world worships the devil it is a jihad; a struggle for me not to. these are the 21st century jihad that is acceptable. Back in Mohammads times when Mohammad used to go on "Jihad" he was killing the pagan (multiple god) believers. but we don't do that kind of things anymore, time and society has changed. what ever a muslim does to harm todays' great free american society is a sin of course. The "Muslims" that say they must kill all non muslims meaning christians and jews too are being totaly hypocritical. you understand. those "muslims" are not the real muslims, and you will see what kind of punishment they get from God. So no, no 12 virgins for them.
as for the Good believers, who wish not to kill. and who have good moral values and respect their neighbors regardless whomever it may be, they will get the "12 virgins" lol you see the 12 virgin thing is only making us want to do good in life, don't you think? hell fire, its fire its painfull, heaven, virgins etc..its good, we like it. For womean it will be vice versa, women will get hot, big, sexy men. or whatever is your fantasy you know?

12 virgins is nowhere in the Qur'an but yes a believer going to paradise will get "hoor". "Hoor" means "big lustrous eyes" and it also means spouse so a Women will get a spouse with big lustrous eyes spouse so will the man..

One of the hadith says that women will get what the eyes have not seen and what the heart hasn't deisred....

I dont even think thats in the Koran. Suicide is forbidden in Islam and Jihad means Struggle. :) It does not mean war.
