I have heard that there is some health benifit from seperating milk and dairy. The iron in meat and the calcium in dairy tend to bind together so that you don't get the benifit of either one. By not eating them at the same meal you better absorb both the calcium and the iron.

Now obviously that is not the reason we don't mix the two. The basis of the command is the fact that Torah says you should not boil a kid in its mother's milk. Now that could be taken just at face value. But Torah makes the same command 3 different times in 3 different places. That is understood to mean that the command has to be taken at more than its face value. A "hedge" of protection is placed around the basic command. So the understanding that is accepted is that no mixing of milk and dairy is permitted.

Now as to how you should live your life, obviously there is no need for you to live under the rabbinic injunctions unless you feel like it. Yes, it is probably improper for you to take and animal from its mother and to take its mother's milk that was intended to nourish it and the boil that kid in that milk. But whether you should keep milk plates and meat plates in different cupboards - that probably isn't anything you really need to worry about.

Be obediant to the basic commands of Scripture and don't worry about the traditions unless you are convinced that the tradition is appropriate to observe. In the position you are in you don't need to feel that you have to answer to anyone about how you are obediant, don't let them judge you in your keeping of dietary laws, holy days or anything else. Live righteously and do justice.

Fish have to have scales. Maybe a vegetarian pizza. No cheeseburgers for sure, veggie burgers maybe, that's about all I know. As a Christian, I believe we are under grace and not the law, but it's still a healthier way to live. There is a book at the Christian bookstores titled "What Would Jesus Eat" it's pretty interesting.

the international has lost a real and uncommon famous individual interior the variety of Michael Jackson. in no way has there been the variety of maximum suitable skills as him. His skills and fan base has been while in comparison with that of The Beatles and Elvis, yet i think of its honest to assert that he's a legend lots bigger than the different band or artist. His songs have been quite influential to the music international and set a classic so extreme that no longer something with the aid of fact that has particularly in comparison. there has been no different artist who has complete such dizzy heights as Jackson. For me, Michael Jackson inspired me together with his dancing means and his songs. there's no longer a music of his that i do no longer love. i be responsive to a number of the words to his songs, and would desire to visual show unit his dancing for hours on end. Now i wasn't some great fan, yet i've got self belief he became a real idol and that i do no longer think of the international will see the variety of skills ever back. i've got self belief he became misunderstood and his quirky (and often times a sprint off the wall) methods have been taken thoroughly the incorrect way by ability of the international. It saddens me that the international is the variety of judgemental and cruel place, and that i desire he would have considered what share unswerving and loving followers he had. RIP Michael Jackson.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you but Jesus came to save us from the Law and God made everything clean..my spouse no longer eats pork and a good sub. for a BLT is the norm and bacos i know it sounds gross but no pork involved...people now a days don't eat those things due to health reasons..if you want to follow those laws then if no milk near meat then say goodbye to pizza/cheeseburgers/most fast food that will kill you quicker anyways you are better off w/out those..

Have you ever really thought why the bible says you shouldn't eat pork, shellfish or scavengers? It was an early health manual before we had proper hygene knowledge, fridges and health inspectors.

I'd suggest you look into 21st century food hygiene and technology. If god didn't want you to eat bacon, christ wouldn't have cured the pig. I hope this helps, I am serious.

as a Jew I will tell you that you do not need to worry about those things.

The dietary laws in the Torah were given by G-d to the Jewish people and are not necessary for anyone else

so go eat what you want and blame it on me

Not if you buy it from one of the fast food chains.

The hamburger is not really meat and the cheese is not really a dairy product. They are both synthesized from cow manure.

Happy dining!!!
