The penalty for sin is learning why the negativity occurred, learning from it for the future, and making amends with anyone that was hurt during it. You are the only one that can do this for your "sins".

The eternity is not enough to finish it!
But if your penalty is already paid and if you can live through Crist, why do you have such a question? Your life is a gift! God died for you! Is not enough?...

But the penalty of sin, any sin, is death.
Physical and spiritual.

Too late. Jesus already died on the cross. And besides, it had to be perfect blood shed for us, and as such it would be sacreligious for you to try to take His place.
