Why Jesus is the son of god?
Why he need to die for us?

Kindly elaborate your answer. I want to know why because all the reason that were given to me were illogical.

I am Christian and I’m looking for a specific verse in the Quran and to me it explains a true Muslim or even any follower of God/Allah. It goes something like: “…if someone is mean to you, reply with gentle word of kindness”
I read it before but can’t remember where. So if you would be so kind to help me out, I’d appreciate it.

God bless, wa salaam.

I heard a guy say on a CB last week..."God sure can create some pretty sunsets. Just imagine what He could do if He had money!!!" I found this a bit disturbing as the guy was serious.

Despite long attempts to educate people on this, so many still think witches and pagans worship the christian devil. We do not! We don't even believe in the devil as that is a christian concept. True pagans are not christians. That is a mixture that is like to say it is fresh water and sea water at the same time. In other words, impossible. There are so many kind of Pagansim and so many ways people choose to become Pagan. For me, I had a vivid dream showing me, that without a doubt, Shamanic Wicca was my Path. I'd love to hear from others on this as well.

Christian justifications on Food Laws are that Paul or Peter had a vision that ALL animals were ‘cleaned/purified’. Yet we no how unhealthy the consumption of the ‘prohibited animals’ are. It’s been scientifically proven. It is clear that God gave them the Food Laws for health reasons.
If this is so obvious than how can ALL the animals have been “purified”?

Why do so many Christians like to proclaim that Islam is pagan(the whole moon-god thing) when there are so many pagan-like aspects in Christianity (christmas, eastre, etc.)?
By the way I’m not Muslim (no offence to Muslims).

Paul, in his zealot exaltation, admits and justifies, on Jesuitical principles, the preaching of falsehood, and feels really aggrieved that honest men should take exceptions to such mendacious propaganda:
"For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?" (Rom. 3.7)
In a spirit of good-humored naiveté he winks at the flock of Corinthians whom he has hooked into the fold, and admits that he had tricked them:
"Though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved. But be it so: ... nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile." (2 Cor. 12.15-16)

Was christianity founded on lies?

And he admits to the church of Corinth: "I robbed other churches ... to do you service" (2 Cor. 11.8).

Did Jesus teach to lie and steal?

Paul tells the story that on the way to Damascus with a detachment of men, there suddenly shined about him a light from heaven and Jesus spoke to him (Acts 9:3) and although his men heard a voice, they did not see anyone, and it was only Paul that heard Jesus speak words to him.
Later Paul changed his story, denying that his men heard anything at all, but instead, they only saw a great light shining around him (Acts 22:9). Perhaps he was afraid his men might have been questioned. Compare Acts 9:7 with Acts 22:9.

Did Paul's friends hear the voice, or did they not? Is this another lie or a politician spin? Acts 9:7 (KJV) "And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man." Acts 22:9 (KJV) "And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me."

Paul allows lying as a method of spreading Christianity, citing Romans 3:7-8, 1 Corinthians 9:20-23, 2 Corinthians 12:16 as proof texts. In the passage in Romans, the context is the contrast of man's righteousness with God's, and nowhere does Paul say it is okay to lie. In fact, at the end of the passage, he condemns those who say it is okay to do evil so that good may come out of it. Read Romans 3:1-8 to get the full context.
Next is the Philippians passage, in which the context is not the use of dishonesty to spread the Christian message, but the motives behind one's preaching. Paul says that while some preach out of love and sincerity, others preach out of envy and rivalry with Paul, or selfish ambition. It is about this motivation that Paul says is unimportant, as long as the preaching gets done and the word is spread (Philippians 1:12-18).

Is Lying Ok to spread the word of God?

Can ANY Christian Justify his Doudle standards and blatant contradiction?

Paul wrote he would gladly become a servant of any and all in order to win them to Christ, “And unto the Jew I became as a Jew, that I may gain the Jews; to them that are under the law (the Torah), as under the law that I might gain them that are under the law; to them that are without law (the Gentiles), I might gain them that are without law; to the weak, I became weak that I may gain them” (l Corinthians 9:20-22). In Acts of the Apostles and Paul’s own letters, Paul shows that he was willing to distort the truth. “If through my lies God’s truth abounds to His glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?” (Romans 3:7) “In every way, whether in pretence or in truth, Jesus is proclaimed and in that I rejoice”. (Philippians 1:18) Sounds like a modern politician. He says whatever the people want to hear!

Can ANY Christian justify his metods?

What sort of reprocussions is this passage implying?

Is it referring to a Christian who has abandoned his faith?

Or a Christian who lets a sin take over his/her own life?

Or a Non-Christian who rejects Christ?

Check out the whole passage for reference.

"KIEV, Ukraine -- A lion killed a man who climbed into its enclosure at the Kiev zoo, police said Monday.

The lion attacked the 45-year-old Ukrainian late Sunday after he used a rope to climb down into an enclosure with four lions, said police spokesman Volodymyr Polishchuk.

Ukrainian TV channel NTN broadcast interviews with witnesses who said the man told them that he believed God would not allow the lions to hurt him."
