There is no verse to 'describe' ones faith. Faith comes by hearing the word of 'God'. The cast is too great to define a person by thier faith; each individual has their developement in 'God' as each individual understands him. A definition would 'set' everyone to a certain standard - if 'God' would have meant for everyone to understand why he designed us as he has; then allowing us to go through the things we go through everyday would become formatted - then where is freedom of will? it would not exist if you could define faith. -We claim spiritual progress rather than sprirtual perfection.

And verily, this (i.e. Allah's ommandments mentioned in the above verses 151 and 152) is My straight path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His path.This He has ordained for you that you may necome AlMuttaqun (the pious).

23: 1-10 In the Name of Allah 'Successful indeed are the believer. Those who offer their salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil, vain talk, falsehood and all that Allah has forbidden. And those who pay the zakat. And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the slaves) that their right hands possess*, - for then, they are free from blame;but whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts) and to their convenants; And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawat (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours). These are indeed the inheritors.

*Salvery: this was part of the pagan heritage that Islam gradually put an end to. There is no slavery in the Muslim world more than 1350 years ago.
