Despite long attempts to educate people on this, so many still think witches and pagans worship the christian devil. We do not! We don't even believe in the devil as that is a christian concept. True pagans are not christians. That is a mixture that is like to say it is fresh water and sea water at the same time. In other words, impossible. There are so many kind of Pagansim and so many ways people choose to become Pagan. For me, I had a vivid dream showing me, that without a doubt, Shamanic Wicca was my Path. I'd love to hear from others on this as well.

Gregory: Thanks for one of the more intelligent Christian responses...but there are many who still complain about us worshiping the devil when that is really usually just a teenaged rebelllion thing(though some are much older, I"ve even seen some 40 year olds who still think of themselves as teenagers)..most of them still live at home with Mom an Dad and go like sheep to church and PRETEND to be christian only to go out secretly and rebel. For others here describing more legitmate paths, thanks for the response..yes I've heard of the Heathen Path..very interesting and I've studied about some of those Dieties as well.

I am Celtic Generational Tradition from a long line of them. My family has practiced Wicca for hundreds of years now and that is the path I follow. No, I wasn't brought up in it but when I found it, not by having my family try to 'convert me', but through my own studies and borrowing books when I found it I was 'home'.

Well I'm a pagan gnostic Luciferian witch. Anyway I have wall to wall gods & goddesses, but the best one is Sophia (Wisdom) and I also like Zoe (her daughter the Serpent). And if anyone is wondering NO I don't worship the devil or Satan, but some Lucifer worship is fitting since She is the light-bearer and consort of the cosmic logos. Magic is communicating with those adorable angels.

Christians do not believe that you go out of your way to worship the devil or whatever.
rather we believe that there is only one true God and that to follow anyone else is to be convinced by a power that is working against that one true and loving God.
This 'power' is the same power that leads the devil. in the end, a Christian will admit that they believe that worship of anything other than God is sin. which is actually a non-statement as the very definition of sin is to reject God and follow something/someone else.
for your vision, i would say that it was a very real experience - just as i would say the power of sin and rejection of God is very real in this world.
I am not 'judging' you. please don't feel like i am. i am trying to give you an insight into how Christians think about things.

I am pagan and am not. I believe in all religions including the multiple Wiccan religions, druid religions, ect.
The crazist thing that I've noticed though is many religions have people in there Holy books that use witchcraft and they are considered great people, but they concider witchcraft evil. For example reading the future.
If a psychic witch reads your dreams and tells you the future she is evil, but if Joseph (from the old testament) reads your dreams and tells your future he is a Saint??? If a witch cured your ailments she is evil, but if Jesus did it's o.k.
The truth is no religion is evil, just certian people in the religion are. Remember even the Jews, Christians, Muslems, ect. ect. have there evil people i.e. Priests that molest little children, Bin Lauden to name a couple.

Druidry. And not the Celtic Reconstructionist form. No need to perform ritual to any pantheon in particular and , yes, you CAN be Christian and Druid. Druidry is not necessarily viewed as a neo-Pagan worship. Connection to land, season, rhythm of life. Much of Druidry is solitary. I was called to this path because I was very tired of SCA-type witchy wannabees that comprise a goodly portion of self-proclaimed Pagans. Tradition is fine but it is vitally important to make your path meaningful in the world we live in today. When you can find relevance in your everyday existence that speaks to your spirituality, you can begin to understand what Druidry means.

i'm a heathen. which is a pagan of sorts...i suppose. i dont really consider it a pagan path but anyhoo,
Heathens are polytheists that follow specifically the gods of northern Europe, ie the gods from the lands that are now Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, etc. we dont believe in sin, we dont have a devil, and we dont believe in a flawless god.
