Why Jesus is the son of god?
Why he need to die for us?
Kindly elaborate your answer. I want to know why because all the reason that were given to me were illogical.

I'm fully aware that he need to die for humankind. But why? I though love never fail and Father is the Most Merciful. Adam has asked for his forgiveness. Still not enough? And I have nothing to do with it.
Because the Bible says so wouldn't prove that Jesus is the son of god. Why Father need son? i will understand if human or animal need son. To continue their existences. But why GOD need son?
That's why i said illogical.
Any pastor here or perhaps Pope himself would like to explain to me?

Seven: Faith is what makes the illogical become perfectly logical. Wow!! Nice.. But u still haven't answer my question. I know he is not worthy of die but yet still want to taste the death to take all sins. But why? Why he has to die to save us. Love never fail. And yet god still want to punish me to hell because of what Adam did in the past. Why i am a sinner?

If we believe that Jesus take all our sins than is it sound that he has been made the scapegoat. We don't have to be responsible for what we did as Jesus already had take our sins.

The reason that Jesus is the son of God has not been revealed to us.
The reason he had to die for us is complicated.
At one time, humans and God lived in perfect love and harmony (in the creation story, the garden of Eden).
The first humans, through pride, disobeyed God and broke this harmony (the fall of mankind).
All humans ever since are affected by this "original" sin and live in a broken world.
God, through His (or Her) infinite love and compassion, started a plan of salvation for the human race to bring us back into love and harmony with Him.
Through the Jewish people, He prepared the world for a messiah or savior.
At God's direction, the Jews sacrificed animals to God to forgive their sins. But they sinned again and again and had to sacrifice again and again.
When the world was ready, Jesus was born and grew up.
Then Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice for sin. He was crucified, died, and then rose from the dead in fulfillment of the Jewish scriptures.
No other sin offerings are necessary. Through Jesus' sacrifice, believers are rejoined with God in love and harmony. Alleluia!
With love in Christ.

Jesus is the Son of God because... it's just who He is. The Bible says He's the only begotten Son of the Father Jehovah.
Jesus needs to die for us because the pattern from the Old Testament and the beginning is that without the shedding of blood, sins can not be taken away. Our evils done to God are so serious the shedding of blood is needed.
Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
However, it was not possible that the blood of bulls, goats, and calves should take away our sins (Psalms 50:13, Hebrews 10:4).
Even if a perfect person died, they could only pay for 1 person's sins, because they are a finite being. Jesus being God, is an infinite being, and thus able to pay for all.
Jesus also had to die for the righteous nature of God. As they teach you in a Microeconomics class, nothing is ever truly free. It must be paid for by someone. Even so, God is a righteous God and can't justify us while our sins are unpaid for. Jesus satisfied the requirements of God's righteous nature.
Jesus died because we couldn't save ourselves and were all as a race guilty before God.
Isaiah 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
An intercessor is one who intercedes or acts on the behalf of another.

OK here we go.
First yes, Jesus was the son of God, but to answer why I am going to answer why to the second one.
See at the time of Jesus people were doing a lot of bad things in the name of religion. They misinterpreted God completely. So God had to wise them up. Thus Jesus was born.
Now as for Jesus dying it's a little different then people believe.
Yes, Jesus did die on the cross
No, Jesus did not die for our sins like we think he did.
See think back and name the most influencial Presidents of the US that you were not a live during. I am almost possitive JFK and Lincoln will be on that list. Now tell me what these Presidents did.
Then how is it that they are remembered. How is it that Martin Luther King Jr. is so much more famous then Malcolm X. Because they died unjust deaths. Jesus is no different.
Jesus had a message to give to this world and in order to keep his message to live on this long he had to be martyred (die an unjust death).
Think about it; when you think of Jesus the first thing in your mind is his death and then his teachings. If he did not die we would have forgot all about him a long time ago.
Added: God created Jesus, so he could not break his own law. God gave us free will. God can not do anything to impose on free will. If he had come down himself anything he did would be imposing on free will which he can not do, but his son can.
Now as for why not use another prophet. He had to create a pure man; straight up pure. As you get older you get less and less pure so he couldn't talk to an adult. And who would trust a kid unless there was something about him, like I don't know, being the son of God.
He does everything for a reason, this was the best way to get his message across. Since God can speak to us and Jesus learnt at an early age how to speak to him God could guide him into delivering his message on a regular basis.

The Creator of our universe is perfect. He created us to be perfect as well and endowed us with a free will to make choices in life. However, mankind rejected the perfection of God to follow our own ways. Our disobedience brought sin and death into the world. We were created to live in perfection, and live for all eternity -- now struggle with our sinful nature, and know that our days on this planet are numbered. Our sin, results in the greatest enemy of all: death.
From the beginning, God promised that He would not leave us without hope in this world. Throughout the Bible's Old Testament, it was prophesied that there would come one who would defeat the power of sin and death. Those prophecies were fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Jesus lived the perfect life that we were unable to live...He paid the punishment that our sins deserved by His death on the cross. What human has power over life and death? We all know that we have no power or control over death.
Jesus claimed that He had power over death. He claimed that He would die and be raised to back to life. He claimed that He was the Son of God.
Jesus offers you a way to know the Father, and He offers you forgiveness for every mistake you make in life. You can graciously accept His gift, or you can simply reject Him.
Is this all logical? Yes and no. If you study the Bible's message it is very logical, and the books fit together in a unified whole...they all bear witness to the fact that Christ came to this world to conquer sin and death. While there is a beauty and logic to God's plan of saving us from sin & death, it can also seem extremely illogical from our limited perspective. Faith is what makes the illogical become perfectly logical. Faith makes that which seems crazy in the eyes of the world, the most sane and rational option of all: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and our Savior from sin and death.

Jesus is the first of Gods creations. John 1:1 says in the beginning the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. This verse when referring to Jesus as a god is not saying he is God, but is describing his qualities, he's god like.
Romans 5:12 says through one man sin and death entered in to the world, and death spread to all men. No imperfect person can provide the means to deliver anyone else from sin and death. So because a perfect man willfully sinned it took a perfect man who demonstrated loving obedience to Jehovah(Psalms 83:18) to die a sacrificial death to provide a covering of sins of those who would in faith accept the provision.

Jesus is the Son of God in much the same way that we are all Children of the Divine. He got into trouble and was executed and His death had to fit into His message in some way so His disciples decided that He died for your sins. It's very interesting to note that while Christ died for your sins, 'Bob' will help you to justify your sins. Which is the better deal, in the long run? If the world ends on July 5th, will you be 'OK' with 'Bob, or left behind? Join now and avoid the lines!

I notice not many takers on this one. I dont know if I can explain it to you either in a few short paragraphs. But I'll try. The hebrews call him Yeshua. His people call him Issa (not sure if spelling is correct). His real name was not really Jesus, that is just what we call him. So who am I to break the tradition? According to the bible he was there in the beginning, with the father. The father (God) spoke to Abraham and the other prophets about Jesus, telling them he was coming to save mankind. This was all written in the old testament, over the years, by many different people, all saying Jesus is coming. He finally arrives. But why did he come? To save mankind. What was the price to save mankind? His blood. He had to die. He could have easily saved himself, but he didn't. Pilate said he had done nothing wrong and wanted to release him, but Jesus put up no defense. And you know the rest.
So it takes the blood of God to save mankind, that is the story.

All threw history there has always been a sacrifice to God. The first to make sacrifices were Cain, and Able. God accepted Abel's sacrifice but not Cain's. Abel's sacrifice was a flawless lamb.
Mary was a virgin, when the Spirit of God overshadowed her,and she conceived Jesus.
Jesus was both God (in spirit),and man (in flesh): Jesus himself knew before he was ever born he was coming to the Earth to die for the sins of mankind.
Jesus became that sacrificial lamb, who died for the redemption of sins for all who would call on his name.

The reason you can not find logic in religion is, there is no logic in religion. Any thing that you find in modern faith is just a side affect of our past ignorance. All religion is based on folk lore and legend devised to explained unexplainable phenomenon, the bible included it is just a fairy tale that helps to explain to uneducated people how the world works. Now religious leaders are using their power to manipulate the masses into doing their bidding. Religion is a social disease that need to be cleansed from modern society before we as a race (the human race) can progress.

Jesus, being born of a virgin, (immaculate Conception)became human and lived among us. God was with us in human flesh. (Matthew 1:23; John 1:14) The face of God.
Jesus died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day as prophesied in the Scriptures. .... (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
God considers BLOOD to be sacred, thus any promise or vow that was lifted up to God (in olden days) was given with a blood (meat) offering to make it a solid pact.
Signed sealed and delivered and if you went back on that deal, you were horrible and untrustworthy to everyone.
So in order for him to accept us (sinners) into heaven OUR sins must be covered, and was, by Jesus blood.
GOD can`t see YOUR sin`s (IF you are saved) because the BLOOD of Jesus washed them away. That is why Jesus is OUR Savior..
In the olden days they (Jewish folks) sacrificed animals to do this, God sacrificed his only SON to show his love for you.
NO LOVE IS GREATER THAN HE WHO GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU..
God Bless and Good Luck... {:-)
