...of fireworks???

Here in the UK it is 22:53 so WHY do all the prats around here have to start letting off New Years fireworks EARLY?

For one thing it spoils the whole sky lighting up thing - for another it means my cats can't get in their last trip into the garden for a wee in peace!!!

For those of you who have been involved in long relationships or who are still lucky enough to have a wife to share life with, what do you do after years of marriage to make your wife still feel loved and beautiful and desirable and valuable to you?

Have you gotten sloppy and take your wife for granted so she is not the happy carefree loving wife you had when you married her?

Would you address your wife as old hag or you old boot or sometimes as you old fool?

Would you talk to other women who are strangers to you when you take out your wife or are you just with your wife and pay attention to her?

Do you have advise for other men to make a happy marriage ?

It seems that some antichrists out there think it means 'Separation of Church & United States'. But that isn't what it means at all.

'Separation of Church & State' comes from Amendment 1: Religious establishment prohibited. Freedom of speech, of press, right to assemble & to petition.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceable to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

2. And another ? is 'Why do people assemble (unpeaceably) around funerals of our military & protest our military who died for our country. When this is an 'unpeaceful assembly' that takes away the rights of the families of the loved ones who died? Isn't this type of protest actually unconstitutional?
Since it is really threatening other Americans & taking away their rights.

Please answer both questions.

Many Christians argue that evolution has to be wrong because the Bible says God created everything. Now I am not a Christians and I have never read the Bible so I am genuinly asking this question. Does the Bible ever say how he did it, or that he just did it?????

Seeing as it was all right to do to Francis Bellamy:

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood, under God
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood under God
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Every Who down in Who-ville liked Christmas a lot
But the Grinch, who lived, under God, just north of Who-ville, did NOT!

Oh yeah I, under God, tell you something, I think you'll understand
When I, under God, say that something, I wanna hold your hand

Alright stop under God collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention

He wants you to praise him for everything that's good, even if YOU are the one who did it, but takes none of the blame when things go wrong, even though everything was made by him and belongs to him and he ultimately is responsible for it. I never quite got that. "All our righteousness is as dirty rags," as the saying goes, but no natural calamity like a hurricane or tsunami or anything all, all of which is God's beautiful creation, merits any blame. Why?

After everything you have said, and done at the end of the day,
Can you look at yourself in the mirror, and like what you see?
Or can you lie to yourself, and say it doesn't matter?
Be honest, and be truthful You are the only one that has to live inside of you!
Most days, I can! But, there have been days when I couldn't, either!
Arguments!
Petty comments!
Untruthful about something important.
ECT.

Thanks for your answers!!

My husband and I made plans to go out. But I'm a little scared. Before having children I didn't think too much of it, but we have 2 boys 2 and 6. We planned to stay only for 2 hours 10-12 then go home. We'll drink at home.

Those who settled before our ancestors -- yes, even different species -- have left their mark and mold what our environment and society are today. Their cultural influence should not be forgotten and indeed should be studied and appreciated. With this new committment we shall commence once again to unite with one another and all of Earth in harmony, seeking to establish virtue wherever man shall live, respecting all life around it.(Maybe I should have blogged this instead. I wasn't sure how to.)(Also, I wanted people to offer helpful suggestions as to how they would contribute a positive act of virtue available for all -- as opposed to new technologies for greed, destruction, et cetera.) Weep, Snail.
End.

A young minister had just got out of the seminary, got his first church, and was preaching his first sermon. In the seminary, they had taught him that if he forgot something, just back up and repeat what he had said, and maybe it would come back to him.

He started out with a quote, "Behold, I cometh....." but he couldn't remember the rest of it.

So he trys to regain his composure, backs up an starts again... "Behold I cometh..." but he still couldn't remember.

So he rears back and shouts again, "Behold I cometh! ..." but this time he trips over the pulpit and falls right into the lap of a little old lady sitting the front row!

He was embarassed and started apologizing, but before he could finish the woman muttered...
"It isn't your fault sonny - you told me you were coming three times... I should have moved!"

Ok, we had decided to use the niece of a friend of our family to professionally videotape our daughter's Sweet 16 party and to make DVDs out of the footage.

We got two DVDs as planned; one worked and the other one didn't. It just stood on the menu screen and when I clicked "play" nothing happened. The woman accepted in back and gave us another DVD free of charge. When we got 2 more DVDs back; again one worked and the other one did not. This time one of the DVDs constantly skipped despite cleaning and it would not stay straight.

Now, a friend of ours is having a wedding and had called asking about how we liked this woman taping our party and did we like the results. I told her the truth; I said the footage was great but she gave us a couple of faulty DVDs that would not work. She tried to correct the problem but the second time she once again gave us a faulty disk.

A day later, the video person calls us blaming us for having made her lose a client and saying she has bad DVDs.
