After everything you have said, and done at the end of the day,
Can you look at yourself in the mirror, and like what you see?
Or can you lie to yourself, and say it doesn't matter?
Be honest, and be truthful You are the only one that has to live inside of you!
Most days, I can! But, there have been days when I couldn't, either!
Arguments!
Petty comments!
Untruthful about something important.
ECT.

Thanks for your answers!!

It is my aspiration to be able to look at myself in the mirror everyday. I second-guess myself, I worry, and I try, my absolute hardest, to be a good person. At the end of the day, yeah, I make mistakes. But what is important, is that I tried my damnedest, and did the best I could. It's not the mistakes that matter, it's the trying. Because, you can always try to fix the mistakes tomorrow. You can't fix not trying.

Yes, I can look myself in the mirror because I'm always honest and I don't say anything I don't mean. No matter how ogre-ish it may sound.

I have enjoyed answering questions...and reading questions...and reading answers...

sharing thoughts,opinions and knowledge...

some day are jewels and other days are full of rocks....

but it appears that someone does not like me to do this....they have found my home address and I have been receiving threatening letters in the mail with no return address....

they do not like my "drive by stabs at unbelievers", etc.there was a lot more in the letter which had been photo copied off the R&S site....

and claim"we have been watching your activity for months, and this has to end!"

I apologized once before to this person who seem to take offense at my answer to a question about illegal aliens, etc.

I received a very nasty anonymous letter in the mail....

I have received 2 such letters now....this is a form of threatening behavior that is similar to stalking.....

vehicles in the parking lot had eggs thrown at them....

please be careful of your answers....there are nuts out there...and I have notified MVPD.....

At the end of the day,
I realize that I am a sinner saved by GOD's grace.
That I am no better than anyone else.
I understand that nothing I do
can ever make me "good" enough
to somehow earn my way into heaven.
I am deeply thankful
that GOD provided
JESUS CHRIST,
who is the only way for my sins to be paid-for.
So I can be with HIM in heaven.

I'm never untruthful. I don't make comments that I regret (usually). I have fun arguing on R&S because I THINK before I ask or respond.

Yet still I'm not too fond of myself. More accurately, I should say that I like who I am, but I don't like where I've let myself end up. I kind of beat myself up over it.

As far as philosophy, religion and beliefs are concerned, I'm very happy with where I am. :)

This is a daily struggle. We are all human and we are all going to make mistakes. NO ONE IS PERFECT! You can not beat yourself up over something that you said or did. You should live each day to the fullest and as if it is your last. Tell the people who matter to you just how much they do! Show them. Do good deeds! Go out of your way for someone every now and then. Then at the end of the day (even if no one says THANK YOU)... You can feel content! God forgives! You have to learn to forgive yourself! Make things right and try to do better!
